The best games of the year is a popular topic for obvious reasons, and it’s even fun to talk about the worst. But a topic that goes unexplored far too often are the games that were great, but for one reason or another didn't get a whole lot of traction.

2 of my top 3 GOTYs went under the radar: Spiritfarer and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. This year was absolutely fantastic for gaming!

I played Neon Abyss on game pass and it was actually pretty neat. It takes a bit for me to even bother with games of that art style but it is a nice romp of a game.
13 Sentinels is a great game but definitely not for everyone despite me wanting everyone to play it.
Streets of rage 4 is a really good game and super fun with a friend. I am disappointed it didn't get more attention.
