MYTHOS
Long ago, the worlds were forged: Midgard, the domain of mortals, and Asgard, the realm of celestial beings—elves, giants, and gods.

Amid the heavens, the sands of time flowed peaceably, until one fateful day. What began as a simple feud between the Aesir and Vanir would soon ignite a divine war that would come to rage across the lands of men, heralding the coming of the end of the world.

STORY
By Odin's command the battle maiden descends from Valhalla, surveying the chaos of Midgard, seeking the souls of the worthy.

She is the Chooser of the Slain. She is the Hand of Destiny. She is the Valkyrie.

As war ravages Asgard above and Ragnarok threatens the world's end, she must learn her own story, and discover her own destiny.

From the heavens on high to the world down below, the battle for the souls of gods and men begins.

Stunned and hyped that this made it to mobile. Really hoping Vagrant Story, Star Ocean 2, Thousand Arms, and FFVIII come to iOS so my PSX era JRPG collection is complete.

Don't be a port beggar.
Mobile :(

Hate to port beg, but please consider Switch.
Or Vita.
Or PS4.
Or Xbox One.

And then bring a Silmeria remaster.

And then make VP3.

Ok? Thanks.

Not bad at all, one of my favorite JRPGs of all time. I’ve already played it on PS1 and PSP though... is this the port of the PSP version?

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
On one hand, I'm happy this is a thing and that the game is finally digitally available.

On the other, it's a relatively high-priced mobile port with paid DLC cheats (Final Fantasy IX included this kinda stuff for free), and "partial controller support"? Get the fuck out of here with this shit, especially since the game had 100% controller support when it was on PSP.

Yeah the price to play this isn't cheap. Why didn't they they release the PSP version digitally? This is the only playable version unless you own a PSP or a PS1 copy.

I paid the $15.99 plus tax. I bought FFIX and Romancing Saga 2 when they came out on iOS. Those were both $19.99 USD.

I was surprised to see the DLC. Here's a better breakdown of the DLC:

The game isn't hard enough for the cheats at all. I guess S-E has gotta squeeze as much many as they can from folks.

As long as the core game is the same I think this is a great way to add micro transactions. I think the price is fine but I am getting a bit leery of iOS as I seem to be losing games with each iOS update as developers drop support( see shadowrun and xcom). I would much rather pay that price on steam or GOG.
