The cover headlines and accompanying blurbs were wonderfully fabricated sleaze. Having since become knowledgeable about the featured models, where they're from, the photographers and so on, it's even more obvious how the mags presented this comfy little window into a world of fleshy fun to play on readers' expectations. Most of the magazines never even meet the models, let alone interview them, they're shipped negatives from around the world which they basically create a character with. I've even seen instances of magazines using the same model twice in the same issue with different 'names', make-up, hairstyle etc. At most you'll get an authentic stage name, the rest is complete fantasy. But they were so good at it.

I probably saw some graphic stuff on TV as a toddler, like mid-late 90s. But from my memory the first that I distinctly remember was super weird. I must have been in like 4th grade. My friend told me about a website to watch Sonic the Hedgehog episodes and play cartoon games. I remember going to the site and stumbling upon Sonic The Hedgehog porn lol. Gross. I was using my families shared desk computer and I don’t remember clearing the history after that one haha.
