The film that did it for me was Parasite,watching it in early 2019 before the Oscars so I had no idea what i was in for. It deserves all the praise it got. It made me want to check out Bong Joon-ho's previous work. I would recommend it to anyone,rare example of an accessible movie but so well made on every level.

I think everyones had this theatre experience at least once where you're engrossed in a film but suddenly get natures call. My conspiracy is that theatres offer big drink sizes and crank up the AC just to get you to miss precious minutes of the film so you pay for another rewatch. But in the end its worth it because you get to experience the bliss of a satisfying movie and a satisfying piss.

Some time ago I recall a site that specialised in pinpointing the best moments to go for a pee if caught short during a film at the Cinema.
My bladder is essentially a thimble in capacity, so regardless of peeing beforehand, I'm always on the trot.

Mostly just depends on how much I have to drink. A couple tallboys and anything longer than 2 hours is problematic.

The exception is Lady in the Lake with Dallas Howard and m night. I was already bored with it when my mom called halfway through the movie and I stepped out to talk to her. 10 minutes later I walked back in and was just as confused as before.

Christopher Nolan owes me $$$ for pain and suffering. I did permanent damage to my bladder while Heath Ledger went on and on about society while hanging upside down.

I usually just power through it if I have to pee mid movie. I’ve found that the urge usually starts to abate slightly for an hour or two before it comes back with a vengeance, which is enough time to finish most movies.

i was with someone who left at the ocean entrance to Aquaman. Usually you can explain what happens but that time I was like nope you just missed a key scene and flashback in the movie. It was impossible to say what happened.

I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've had to use the toilet during a 2-3 hour movie and I'd still have fingers to spare. If you need to get up and use the bathroom when you're at the movies you're either a terrible planner or you should legit go to the doctors to get that checked.

Yeah I normally have lunch before a movie if I'm going to an earlier screening so I've already got a fairly big drink in me before the movie.

I don't think its as serious as you guys think,I don't go frequently but when I have to go I have to go,usually if I decide to get a drink,its after the 90 minute mark I dip out and just basically end up recreating this scene

I don't take pee breaks during most films. It's very rare, though there might be the random Rogue One, where I saw it in a theater that served alcohol, and beer runs through me. As has already been said, use the bathroom before the film. Also, try to avoid popcorn and drinks. I never order concessions unless I'm on a date. It's a total waste of money.

The longest stint I did in the theater though was Grindhouse with Planet Terror and Deathproof back-to-back. I had an insufferable cunt of a gf at the time, and she wanted to leave early. I stuck it out though. Had the longest whizz of my life after that though.

Think this was the only film I did. Got stoned before it and the film just wouldn't end. Got back from a piss and it was still going. It was like a thousand endings crammed into one. Didn't help that I was in the front-row (only seat available) it just seemed to go on forever. Gave me a damn panic attack (first ever), never sit front row at a shit film.

I watch movies in theaters like once every 2-3 years because there's not a lot of them that I find worthy of the hassle. The last 3 movies that I went to theater for were Blade Runner 2049, Rise of Skywalker, and Dune and by the way - only one of them was a complete waste of time. Guess which one.

Anyway, for that reason, I don't go there with my bladder full and I don't drink sodas in general so I don't have to go piss ever.

1917 was the last film I watched in it’s entirety without a toilet break. It’s literally one long ‘blink and you miss it’ moment, so like fuck am I going to risk missing anything. Other than that, I can usually go pee and be back in under a minute, so.

I have an overactive bladder so I’m pissing like an old man most days. I’ve had moments where I’ve held it for as long as possible before I had to bow out. The Last Duel being the last movie I remember.
