Man, I was a fan of Will Sasso when he was on MadTV, I'll give this podcast a shot.

Will was the one who played Tony in The Sopranos skits they did on Mad, right? He was great in those.

”I’ve got better things to do than sit around here all day, yapping about my mother!”
(cut)
”See you next week!”

Which is made even funnier by how accurate it is, I swear it felt like Tony would insist he was done seeing Dr. Melfi like once per season, and most of the time he’d be back in like a week or two.

Cancer, Pauly Shore, crying at weird times, and more wrestling impressions. It's episode 5:

Holy shit, that dream video actually did something. I have a really vivid memory of the final dream I had last night.

It started out that I was watching a revival of That 70's Show. Then, I was looking to audition either for the show or something else. During this part of the dream there were several intercuts of locations cues or static cards in the show, but these did not match what was actually used in the original show.

The dream transitioned to a new part, where I was at the studio for the production, it was a hybrid studio and functioning town in a rural area, with dirt roads. I was now looking for the place where I needed to audition. I spoke to Debra Jo Rupp, she gave me directions inside the studio/town. She seemed to think that I was already part of the production, and seemed confused that I didn't know where I was going, and either surprised or disbelieving that I hadn't already been there.

I began to drive around and look for the audition location, and had to be extra cautious because some of the dirt roads had grass on them like a lawn, and I did not want to dig ruts in them with the tires of the car.

I began to near the audition location, and it started to transition in that hazy way that aspects of dreams do, from a revival of That 70's Show to a new version of Spider-Man. The new Spider-Man was either a big budget movie or video game or both, in that indistinct dreamy way. However, it was still being made at the hybrid town/movie studio.

Once I found where I needed to audition, I had trouble finding a parking spot. The security guards were unhelpful in telling me whether parking along the streets was private (for people living and working in the town) or official (related to the productions for the studio aspect.) This was in spite of the fact that the security guards were the ones who enforced the parking rules.

I ended up parking in a parking space that seemed like it was part of a trans woman's driveway, but I couldn't be sure. I was uncomfortable parking there because apparently I had had some kind of disagreement with this woman. She irritatedly peeked out of her blinds at me as I left my car. In the dream this issue was left unresolved. This woman also seemed to have some kind of friction with the cast of That 70's Show, but this was nebulous in the context of the dream and not explored.

At this point, the nature of the audition had completely transitioned into a meeting about the Spider-Man productions. I was there to present ideas about a new version of Venom. This version of Venom was smaller than others, not as muscular, didn't have a long tongue (or at least he didn't stick it out.) It had a slightly elongated dog or wolf like face. It had many small silvery fangs. It had an aspect to its mouth that opening it started out as a small slit, but this quickly changed to a wide opening that extended much too far back on its head. This version of Venom was meant to be scarier than past iterations. Instead of white markings, it had orange, shiny, metally looking veins. These veins would shoot out in segments over the host's body, and then the black slime substance that Venom is made of would flow to fill in the areas between the veins. When the slime had filled in the area, new and longer veins would shoot out, and so the host would be covered by Venom faster and faster over the course of the transformation.

This version of Venom was able to continually grow by consuming people, and eventually could separate off segments of its self and continue to control them as long as they remained in close proximity to it. These segments did not seem to be able to take on a humanoid form separate from the main symbiote, so the would hide in shadows and surprise victims.

Details of the new Spider-Man were not greatly discussed, but he did not seem to joke or quip in the way that Spider-Man normally does. I watched a long battle with the producers between Spider-Man and Venom. While this version of venom, as stated, tended to be smaller than others, it could increase its size/volume, and dis over the course of the fight show a large muscular presentation. It eventually grew in height to about 10 or 12 fee tall, began to form its limbs into large angular clubs, and its offshoot that it dispensed to fight Spider-Man was able to form a large poof of bituminous ichor.

After a long battle, another Spider-Man from another universe came to help this Spider-Man. With assistance, the primary Spider-Man was able to focus on manipulating a gadget on his suit, a white looking light from the spider emblem on his chest. He was able first to stun Venom, then fine tune the frequencies in the light and the intensity of the light and subdue it. Both Spider-Men took samples of Venom.

After the end of the presentation, I discussed with the producers that the clubs Venom made were a bit generic. I suggested that instead, it should be able to manipulate its claws, and extend, expand and fuse them to make chitinous blades and sword like extensions.

And that was the end of the dream.

So I have been listening to this and I'm beginning to question the validity of the "artificial intelligence." Its a clever con and it doesn't matter much to me since it's still funny but I'm not convinced.

My flimsy reasoning: the a.i. seems to "end" the topic when it's already winding down and the a.i. can be heard breathing in before speaking sometimes. I've listened to my Alexa and Siri a lot and have never heard a breath intake anywhere in their speech.

Yeah there's some kind of bit or something going on. Like when it said "never lie to me." I think that this has a narrative that it's building, and I'm looking forward to see how it evolves.
I don't think the AI is an AI, but I'm looking forward to seeing what happens and don't want to think too deeply about what's really going on. I want to be surprised by whatever the joke turns out to be.

The Ai has the same writing style as Tommy Blacha with a bit of Chad's conspiracy theorist mind.
Those Stone Cold Will Sasso childhood diary bits are so good i cannot believe they aren't behind it.

Anyway

Rest Rest for calling Chad "Snokes" (even though it'd make him laugh), and TU for making this thread

I'm just discussing his astonishing facial disfigurment, as Dudesy would want.
I'd love it if someone could get Stonecold to read the childhood diaries. I think I'd just about die laughing.
