With so much porn in abundance, having sex with real women isn't worth the risk of catching STDs imo

from my virgin perspective, i think OP is on to things. We can curbed the spread of diseases, unwanted abortions, sexual assaults and many other painful things. cut the possibility of STD mutating like covid by cutting the infections

that's why there should be a movement to legitimate porn, promote those streaming porn sites as much as Disney+, bundle them with a 5G subscription even.

jerk that urge, clear our minds for greater things, stop being animalistic etc 🙅‍♀️

It does satisfy but it's not the same. I can't sternly tell me hand that it's "a dirty little slut cock addict" and then have it meekly respond in the affirmative and ask for more.

I went into porn because I was too afraid to talk to girls. Same reason I kept masturbating. Haven't done both for over a year now. No sex yet, though, I decided to wait until I'm married. Catching STD's is more a side-effect of chasing random ladies instead of being picky about the one you choose. Of course, there's always risk. Just as there's the risk the lady will literally or figuratively put a knife in your back. Choose your risk I guess. Risk being alone or risk being screwed (no pun intended). I decided I don't want to be an 80 year old man watching porn and masturbating every night. Will I avoid that? We'll see in forty years.

You a dude or a girl? You could hook up with OP and solve 2 problems at once.

Sex is how you learn there’s a difference some people can do both. But there’s a lot of shit like constantly changing emotions, friendship values etc. that you have consider with women. And yeah STDs at any moment is something you should think about.

Is this post real? I mean, I hope it's not.

I can't imagine a phobia or disease that'd stop me from getting my dick wet (glad I'm married, though!).

If Kate Beckinsale had aids i'd still wrap it and tap it.

Actually there is, when a girl gives you a handjob into the other girls mouth. That's peak, and then she swallows.

If this thread turns into a weird kink thing I'm here for it.

My personal favorite is busting in the backdoor as they're busting one too (yes girls can bust nuts because I'm not sure what else to call it... spasmgasm? orgasm is just boring).

Its a good thing, you not breeding

Getting laid requires a lot of effort in general, I know because I spent a huge amount of energy and time getting some since I was like 16 and all the way up in my 30's. That and my professional career were my main motivators. Right now I'll take the opportunity if I can but some reason I don't have the patience nor the drive to actually seek it (I'm 37, btw). I´ve been living on my own for almost a year and a half and it has been pretty cool. I'm in the best shape of my life, I'm pursuing a second and third degree and I get to game as much as I want. Sometimes I do get the itch but after a few convos in Tinder I normally end up deciding that it's not worth my time nor the risk of catching Covid.

STD's are a real risk but most of them are mostly an annoyance thanks to modern medicine. The higher the number of partners, the higher the risk. Specially with something like HPV which is particularly nasty for women. I think it's best to be careful and avoid them as much as you can by being responsible and using protection. I do think porn can be a healthy relief but not a complete replacement for human relationships. I guess what I would say is to not forfeit human interaction completely but be as independent as you can so you can make decisions with a clear head and not based out of a basic urge. One night stands usually suck anyway and are no match for familiarity, trust and actually caring for another person.

The reproduction angle is BS. The best we could do to positively impact the planet is to not reproduce. There is no need. The spawn of most of us will not bring anything special to humanity anyway. I seriously think more people would be childfree if they allowed themselves to actual stop and think about it instead of just following the classic pattern of how to live life.

TL;DR: Porn and masturbation are convenient but are no match when compared about human connection. Be independent but try not to completely forgo the opportunity of forming meaningful relationships.

Do you think humanity should allow itself to die out?

Not necessarily.

I don't know the numbers but I bet a huge amount of people would need to go childfree in order for humanity to go extinct.

I'm up for people being allowed to consider their options and make a conscious decision, specially when it involves bringing another person to life. I also feel most people don't really think about it and just go through the motions of building a career, get a partner, reproduce and so on without realizing there are other ways of living life.

What if the kind of people that even think about whether or not they should produce are the ones that make the world a better place?

Lots of people lack impulse control and so life just kind of happens to them. This could be related to genes, or the environment they are raised in.

If primarily people with poor impulse control and those with poor planning reproduce what does the future hold?

Arguments against reproduction only work on conscientious people. The effect of these arguments is to convince those that should reproduce not to. Those that should not reproduce are not affected because they lack impulse control or life planning abilities.

Never, ever, not in your wildest dreams you're going to have the same pleasure from masturbation than the one that you get with a good blowjob.

What do you guys think?

is that juicy booty really worth the risk of catching something permanent?

i think not, especially when we now have big booty judy on virtual speed dial

I have no desire to ever have sex now

Sounds like you are an awkward person and have problems getting with women, so you're rationalizing it to say you are afraid of STDs. Which is dumb, because you can't let irrational fears rule your life. You may feel the only solution is to give up and withdraw, well, that's your prerogative. But every day is a step closer to death, and years from now you will regret the misguided choices you make today. Get out there and live you dumb fuck.

NO PAIN TRANCE CONTINUE
I had a hotdog once but the only thing I could think of is how my home cooked one is superior

Homemade hotdogs >>> other hotdogs

I sympathize though, I've had many a terrible blowjob

I think this generation and all men who think this will soon regret it.

Porn and sex addiction can be a horrible disease.

STDs are only a problem because you are sleeping around and not in a committed relationship. It is sort of natures way of saying " you shouldn't be doing that"

Humans can be gross and a good way to stop getting STDS is to stop sexing with people that are also sexing other people.

If a person jerks it off exclusively to porn long enough, I bet they can't even perform even if they are lucky to get a woman in bed. Of course you will throw in the towel at that point

IntentionalPun

Ask me about my wife's perfect butthole
This is really silly as most STDs are just annoyances that just make getting people to have sex with you more difficult and some occasional discomfort.

So if you think there is so much porn in the world then you'd be fine after getting an STD just resorting to loneliness.

Sex is rad, man.

Yeah, this is true and it happens now, lower educated people tend to reproduce in higher numbers. However, chances are the world can continue without the kids brought by people that "should" reproduce. Still, even if 20% of the people that "should" reproduce decide not to, the species is not going to go extinct but it would still have a good impact in population growth and environment. And it's not just about the planet it's also about what people want to do with their lives. I'm just saying people need to think more about it before doing it and realize that they don't owe the world anything. It should be an individual decision product of considering all the possible options.

If as an individual someone decides not to reproduce, how the world in 100 years is anything of their concern? Thinking one's kids will improve the world is nice and all but in reality the best we can expect is for them to be completely average.

All I'm saying there are many ways to live and being subject to biological imperatives is BS. We are long pass that as an species and as long as no harm is done to anyone else why not live differently? I can understand what OP is saying, I don't think he is right but I see that as an alternative way of life which would impact only himself.

At the risk of sounding like a boomer or facing ridicule but I can't be the only person that thinks society would be better off if porn was either outright banned or severely restricted to a few genres and a minimum age restriction of at least 21 years old.

I personally don't think it's healthy the unrestricted access to hard core material that we have now. Especially if it creates a situation where someone would rather choose an image on a screen over an actual human being.

My advice OP is don't miss out on the love of a real woman as I'm sure most of us here can agree, there really is no substitute for the real thing!

Porn is just a symptom of a culture already fixated on illusory and fantastical perspectives of life, whether that's through social media and the manipulation of reality, eg. "Check out this Ferrari in my picture that I don't actually own"., or through film and video games, especially video games where the experience has now reached peak levels of hyper-realism.

We all strive for these ridiculous standards of living, and porn sadly fills a void for men competing in a world where every woman thinks they have more social value than they truly do because dating apps give them a false sense of worth. Porn is shit, yes, but again, it's not the problem. The problem is how we function as a society with technology at our fingertips.

It will only get worse.

Edit: I'm not saying don't do any of these things, because we all do, whether that's play video games or jerk off. Just accept it for what it is.

Porn is very unhealthy and contributes to the degeneracy of society.
