Because we're living in Idiocracy where people are so stupid they can't form their own opinion so they need a video to tell them what to think.

This coming from the guy who kept advertising Truth Social in the Elon Musk thread for weeks now while shilling for every capeshit that Marvel puts out.
The only reason you keep hating on Youtube is because there are prominent content creators that criticize your precious MCU.

You're the movie equivalent of a console warrior and your anti-youtube crusade is a tiresome as your Marvel advertising.

Yeah mine got like that too, shit is bad for your mental health. You soon realise all they have in their repertoire is to be angry and never actually talk about stuff that is good.

Problem with YouTube is you only need to watch a video once for it to spam your feed with the same subject matter. I searched for advice on stopping my puppy biting once but now my feed is full of the same videos. I get it already, Jesus.

Yep, they're selling an emotion and not one of the good ones. Ever since the Social Dilemma documentary, I've become very aware making active choices on these platforms and I get annoyed when I get "fed" this rage porn. I've heard all of the interesting stuff already and they add nothing of value. These youtube creators are slave to an algorithm. It's quite depressing.

Lately I've really been wanting a "remove rage content" filter because it's so annoying to even see these thumbnails and titles pop up. But the "block youtube channel" has improved my feed drastically.

Indeed. It's actually quite simple to filter out so much trash. And even for stuff on the border which I might give a chance, the telltale signs of a bad video are pretty easy to spot now.
