I don't know if this part was posted but I'm laughing my ass off:

I guess he was official fly catcher too.

Checks out. After all, Spicey was doing camera duty behind Trump's Big Vroom Vroom Truck.

And Trump likes to play fetch with Pence.

I'm not overly political but this stuff really is better then any HBO/Netflix show on earth...combined, and it happens on a daily basis. Trump really is the King of ratings.

Trump has not achieved anything so far and after the last healthcare failure it was inevitable Priebus had to go.
But he has achieved momentous TV ratings. Far greater than the failing Apprentice had.
So, by Trump's measure of achievement, his presidency has been a home run sensation.
He's the talk of the water cooler. Everyone is always talking about him.

Someone remind me; Bannon was supposedly somewhat in Priebus' camp in the end, right?
I'm not sure it was that so much as they had a truce, both were anti-Mooch and Bannon was hiding out in Priebus' office hoping nobody would notice him after losing his besty Miller to the Kush.

I was just thinking about this yesterday, we'll have massive withdrawal symptoms once the Trump era is over and we are not treated to our daily dose of Russian conspiracies, infighting, inappropriate behaviour, leaks, firings, hirings, lies and exaggerations.

We'll look fondly back to the time when a single day away from the internet might have cost you the press secretary calling the chief strategist a cocksucker and the chief of staff a paranoid schizophrenic, the chief of staff getting fired by a tweet from the same plane, and the press secretary getting divorced.

I'm looking forward to that day, frankly. I'll be able to play video games again.

Baffled by the Kelly pick, but on some level it makes sense. Priebus should have been a very successful CoS. Like Rahm and many other early CoS picks, he had establishment/financial ties that should have resulted in a very focused string of legislative goals: a mixture of big shit and little wins. Trump could have easily had a historic first 100 days, and first year, at which point point Priebus would resign in January or February of next year and start raising money.

Instead they fucked everything up. Trump didn't respect or trust Priebus, didn't achieve anything, and isn't interested in criticism. Surrounding himself with a former general seems like a typical Trump move on one hand (loyalty, dictator shit). On the other, I don't see how Kelly does anything to get Trump some wins. I don't see how he fosters a better environment or works better with Washington.

Is there any chance Kelly took the job to curtail and keep an eye on Trump so he does the least damage? Country over party. It must be crazy to do it otherwise unless he has some bad views himself, even then he must know Trump is screwed eventually. Can he really climb up the ladder post Trump doing this job ?

Yep. We are "lead" by an idiot who thought being the President would be like his reality show. That's where we're at.

And his "party" lets it happen.
The strength and weakness of the GOP is the 'fall in line' mentality. It's become a purity test for their party so they can't break it unless they're willing to throw away any chance of being reelected. Trump is their leader, and no matter how insane he is, they have to fall in line because they don't care about the country or even their party. They care about keeping their job. That's it.

Like I said Stinkles could "prove" it by giving us an encrypted zip with a ext file that contains the oppodroppo. Then give us the key to decrypt it after it actually happens. Come on stink, work with us here ;)

I wonder how long the Mooch/Kelly era will last.
L2ship bro it's the Melly or Kooch era

That kind of head in the sand bullshit is part of why this knucklehead is president.

The senate can set up pro forma sessions of Congress to prevent recess appointments. Only one senator needs to be around.

The Republicans have already been doing that since the Trump admin began, just as a precaution. They know what he's capable of. They have a year-long rotating schedule set up where there's always a junior member around DC during recess.

That post doesn't say anything about not voting or not participating in the political process. I don't see anything wrong with tuning out the latest Trumpworld drama or avoiding excessive worry about things you can't control if you're already doing what you can to change the situation.

Side-note, although I live for the juicy content inside, the words "oppo droppo" are just aurally unpleasant to me.

Like, I can't wait to hear about the insider info Stinkles has, & we gotta be expecting more now that this dipshit thinks firing people for not being obnoxious enough won't lead to them & everyone else getting more ruthless with what they share during meetings with the press, but those 2 words back-to-back... They just sound wrong.

Is it too late to find a new term? Oppo Droppo is definitely a name I would make fun of if it was used for something harmful/that the Alt-Reich use.

lol we should leave Stinkles be tbh, he never said he had anything definite at all, just that one of his DC peeps had heard some shit was gonna go down

How can you do what you can to change the situation if you ignore what the situation is?

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
