The game itself has a lot of PC options and customizations, on medium settings on 1080p I'm getting around 80-90 fps on average and that's from the games own fps counter.
I'm getting some pop in on environment detail in large environs but that's about it. My vid card is a 6gb 1060 GTX so it's not an older card and I'm still getting decent performance.
main grip is that EGS crashes sometimes when exiting the game but that happened with Control as well.

I went with phasecast, (blue tree) and her projection goes through multiple enemies. It's great for CC.

There's this dialogue in which a certain badass male character was left speechless by the badassery of a strong wahman.
Why is she a badass? I don't know. She never did anything noteworthy but the game keeps telling me she is a badass.

I found the settings in this video helpful in getting some extra frames;
I'm using the HUB performance settings (still shot from the video);
Granted, performance from area to area seems to vary on my machine, probably because of my CPU, but changing these settings improved performance on Sanctuary, which had been dropping to 40-45 fps every time I turned a corner. Also, the stuttering is still there consistently, particularly when loading into areas and looking through scopes, but yeah, any performance improvements helps.

I'm prioritizing the orange one. Phasecast is the best skill out of the three for sure. I was decided to go with Moze or Fl4k but Amara caught my attention in the last minute. No regrets.

How are you guys enjoying the game so far?
I loved Borderlands, loved Borderlands 2 even more, didn't like TPS very much... maybe it was my personal experiences but I went the whole game getting only a couple legendary guns, and I always got crap and never got sniper rifles for whatever reason, I also hated the jet pack element to it, it mad traversing the map vetically super confusing finding destinations.
I'm enjoying my time with 3 so far more than TPS but less than 1 and 2. Not sure what it is that's preventing me from getting into it full-on. I think it's because the maps this time around seem overly big, even bigger than before, and I'm doing a lot of needless driving and fighting. But I'm still really early in I expect to get a lot more into it once I get better guns and travel to other areas and such.

You probably already know this, but keep in mind you can fast travel from anywhere in the game, just by using your map. You can instantly go back to your vehicle, or to any fast travel point. It also helps that the driving is so much better in this game.
I will agree that it definitely could have used some "pathing" on the ground itself to show you where to go, and prevent you from needing to open your map so much. The mini-map doesn't help very much in this game. Even something like Rage 2 did a much better job with that, although I still think Borderlands 3 has better driving, environments, and everything else. I'd say the map is the one thing about this game that still feels dated.
I'm about 15 hours in, and I've found at least five or six legendary weapons already, so loot seems way better. And the gunplay and gun variety is improved to the point I don't think I could ever enjoy the older games again. It would be too hard to go back.

Loving it so far. Was a huge fan of the first two, and similar to you just kind of got through TPS. Loot is way better, and after recently replaying the first BL and work on BL2 Free DLC I enjoy the weapons alot more this time around. It doesn't feel like most of your playthrough 1 guns suck. Found so many that are unique and a blast. Just hit level 20 on my solo character (Moze), and started a second character that I was playing with my wife and a friend and hit level 10 with them. Can't wait to sit down and keep trucking through

legendary guns feel fucking OP just like diablo 3 and they change up your gameplay.
I got some booster shield Legendary, off of the Varkkid royal family, in that first area on Pandora - the first Hanmerlock quest.
Level 7 or so... still using it at level 12.
I may hate the shoddy and shady shite Gearbox pulled out of their asses,and dubbed Borderlands 3.
But I preordered that shite, on U.S. PSN.
So I cannot get a refund.
But by God, I can hatefuck it to death.
To wit: goddamn there sure are A LOT of empty spaces.

That's probably going to be me in a bit. I have this Torgue assault rifle that I use the secondary fire on, so it does 10% more damage for each explosive I stick on an enemy. Absolutely shreds everything, including Badasses. I don't see myself swapping it out anytime soon.Level 21 still using the lvl 13 shotty.
It just procs all the fing time 1 shotting enemies

Nice my next roll will be flak.
Right now my zane with his robot lets me almost afk bosses.
It freaking melts everything on the screen. And i get so many procs i don't even now what i am doing anymore.
I just run around like an idiot and 1 shot stuff.
Not caring about health or shield.
such a fun build
i like that bosses are really hard suddenly

everyone gets it, its part of the main quest. It only shoots out greens, blue and very rarely purple. It uses eridium for ammo.

What are you guys playing on cooperative or competitive ? Because EVERYTHING that drops or found for me and my friend in Coop is 2-3 levels higher and cannot be used . It's honestly annoying as f*ck cause all this stuff is useless ..

Speaking of item level, when I was almost done with Pandora - in one of the last parts of The Drought to unlock, I was jumping around some cliffs, and found a chest with level 24-25 guns in it. They were both Common, but damn... talk about off-level.
