Even if MS is a triple trillion-dollar company, they don't have any guarantees to produce AAA bangers every time or that some projects get canceled; they cannot speed the production of these so-called AAAA games.
Some people act like PlayStation is falling apart that Jim Ryan is "ruining their childhood" and the Xbox plan for "world domination" is in the bag, and a "small" company like Sony can't compete at all. Well, Making games is hard, making AAA is even harder, making AAA goty contender game of the generation is a friking miracle.
"Content is king" that's why Netflix spends something like 14 billion on licenses and original productions.
In these last few weeks, Xbox had a pretty good PR run, their momentum is getting stronger...what would happen if Halo Infinite gets delayed again? or comes out with network issues or the campaign just sucks?...you can have hundreds of smaller games or 7 out of 10 games, right? You still need the prestige titles, the blockbusters, the generation-defining games that make your service/platform something special.
In other words: For Xbox is not getting easier, all the contrary, right now the real test is getting serious; they have to produce great content, new IPs (people have been waiting for it for a long time).
