No console comparison in this video

We get some minor minor VRS tier 2 artefacts (Battaglia speculation) but to see it well you need to zoom on a zoomed image. Not sure if it makes for any extra surface shimmering. Looks like a great console version on both but sure you can build a PC today with better looking visuals.

Surprised he didn’t talk at all about the RT lighting improvements. They’re pretty small but noticeable on a side by side

That is common sense VRS trades image quality for performance.
Well, I knew it would trade some IQ but I thought it would be less noticable.

I mean, the PS5 is running the same settings so the only justification I can see for it being used is if it outperforms the PS5 by quite a lot. I guess we will see in upcoming comparisons, this one didn’t include one for some reason.

It's kinda embarrassing to listed VRS as a feature that advertise your game really. In most cases, it result in worst image quality. VRS is use to boost performance for God shake. MS should stop forcing this on their marketing. Let the developers use the feature and let the game performance gain do the talking. Here when I see this. I fucking cringe.

Buzzword (acronym?) bingo makes the marketing world go round.
