Gran Turismo 7 Deep Forest gameplay

To summarize:
+ 16 cars
+ Shadows are excellent
+ Sounds are improved
+ Stabilized camera detached from car (less shaking but you can see g-force and car movement)

- Pop-in, LODs.
- Unstable frame-rate
- Environments are bit empty

For me is nothing worrying. I believe in PD and Kaz. Love the game.
All of this can be fixed in time I hope.

I think the trees need reworked as they looked quite bad as well

If it were GT screenshots, people here would still write it looks like crap anyway, with that unnatural lighting outside and inside the car, mediocre interior details with low-poly geometry and disgustingly reproduced materials, straight out of a home fitness bike.

It has always been this way and it will never change. 🤷‍♀️
GT has impressive attention to detail for it's car models and lighting has always been two steps above the rest. I give Forza the edge when it comes to overall track detail tho.

Honestly I believe that forza 8 will make GT7 look even worse than it actually does. I expect the difference to be gigantic. Hell comparing GT7 with a huge open world game (and trust me FH5 is like the most open world game ever, you can go from point A to point B always at a straight line without following the roads at all) is actually a favour to GT7 because when turn10 unveils gameplay of Forza 8.....oh boy....
Lmao Last time they compared PS4 pro version to PC and gran turismo still came out on top. Reminder Forza Horizon is a 30 FPS game

Where this myth that forza is the racer to beat comes from?
Forza 7 is already dead while sports is charting in monthly basis and Tomorrow is the world finals.
Well mostly I mean the xbox 360 era where 3 and 4 just destroyed gt on ps3.

Forza on Xbox one had issues as well, but still less than GT.

When the huge open world racing game looks like a generation above the closed circuit racing game.

GT7 looks extremely disappointing but I guess it has always been about the replays for this series.
lol i thought you were overreacting and my Sony defense instinct kicked in until I saw the footage myself and my goodness you ain’t kidding. This game reminds me of GT6 in how dated it looks. Only gt6 came out 1 month after the ps4 came out and this thing is coming out 18 months later.

I’m embarrassed for PD. This ain’t on Jim Ryan. Playgrounds were bound by the same handicaps and they still managed to upgrade the visuals. And TBH, I don’t think forza looks that next Gen either. Definitely not as good as the reveal and definitely has a cross gen feel to it. But this thing just looks like no effort was put into making it.

Why can’t the ps5 version get better trees? Better lighting? Ray tracing? Anything to make it stand out. infruriating how Sony of all companies would be ok with putting out a product that looks this mediocre.

Open world racing games are stupid. If I wanted to drive around an open world aimlessly I'd much rather play GTA. It's all about getting to know the tracks, getting faster, and racing people online. If you wanna play bumper cars in Mexico go with Horizon. GT is the only console racing game with competent online play.

Gt5 alone sold more and was more popular than every forza release on 360. Don't know what you on about.

Edit: go play forza. Instead of derailing this thread.
So the best game is the highest selling game? That's what you're reduced to? You're the one who quoted me.

I'm not even a huge forza fan, but it was hugely better in its output consistency, not having ps2 model cars etc. etc. Project Gotham 3 and 4 were the real mvp's of that generation, and they're still my favorites.

Do we know what were the differences between FH5 from current gen to last gen ? Because apart from 60fps or may be the motion blur I am not sure there is much in it.

Great now bring back Seattle and Grand valley.
I have a good feeling about Grand Valley returning. Oh how I would love for Seattle to return as well. I would love to see their take on a street circuit with the new hardware. Seaside and Lago Maggiore look amazing, the locales they choose always look great, would be cool to see a more urban setting from them.

I'm confused, why does ot look amazing one second and then in other shots like a cartoon? Somethings not quite right here. Still looks like fun to play.

Looks pretty.

I like the hud too, though the time counting almost at the middle of screen concerns me.
