2020 was one of the best years for me. its an opinion of course but nothing beats tlous 2 and ghost for me, they are one of the best games ever release to me. love them to bits

they will never top 2020. That year had ps5 release, the last of us 2, GOT, miles spiderman, demon souls, and ff7r.

FO76 was a Dud, so was CP77.

What time is it?
I'll get Gran Turismo out of habit but I can't say I'm overly excited. Ghostwire Tokyo looks really neat but I really haven't enjoyed either of Tango Softwork's titles. It will also come to Game Pass eventually so I'll probably just wait it out a la Deathloop. None of Sony's big hitters next year (last few hours to say that) excite me. Hopefully they'll be some surprises along the way.

It’s a board where you can setup your own servers where you can chat with people. It works across different devices too. So people on PS5 can chat and message people on PC or Xbox if they have a discord account.
Sony has removed all social features from PS5 like communities among other things. So I hope the goal with Discord is to have it be main hub for all of that.
They way it’s worded in the announcement seems like it’s going to be more than just an app or a simple chat integration option like Xbox. It’s going to be more robust. There might be a dedicated discord tab on the UI.

Fans are expecting Bethesda to have learned the lessons from F076, that that's not the kind of game most folks want. Most folks want a meaty single player RPG with good exploration.
Toddington Howardson himself has called Starfield "Skyrim in space". That's encouraging for me

F076 was done by Bethesda Austin (Formerly BattleCry studios).
The mainline Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield are done by the core Bethesda Game Studios in Rockville, Maryland.
Different development teams. Austin isn't even working on Starfield. It's being done mostly in Maryland with Bethesda Dallas providing additional work on it.

This is getting silly. PS has a hell of a year coming up and this should be celebrated. Horizon Forbidden West is coming out in a few weeks and it looks amazing and it will look amazing whether you play it on PS4, PS4 Pro, or PS5. Because no one makes games look amazing as much as Sony does. That is their pedigree. Same for Gran Turismo. Same for God of War.
If the upcoming awesomeness of PlayStation causes you any grief then I agree with Jennifer Lawrence when she says.....

Ready to bump this topic when TLOU2 Director's cut is announced. They are clearly working in multiple projects as Jason had mentioned before. Uncharted Collection in January, Director's Cut later, Factions and the Remake. Hopefully this gen sees Naughty Dog releasing a new IP. The last time they did that was in 2013... it's been too long.
