Years into the future, can’t really predict. I will say that when something is going to be exclusive to Xbox/gamepass - that branding is everywhere. They didn’t even imply it. If I were to guess I’d say it either isn’t or they don’t know.

It’s possible that they haven’t made the decision yet and that’s why there’s no console exclusive or day 1 gamepass branding in the trailer.

Because it shouldn’t take this long to announce this and the way they are keeping it ambigous is childish.

They made the story abt platforms when it coulda just been how exciting it is to have Arkane work on this
Ok. Sony has Spiderman. Pretty sure they were proud to announce they had that exclusive.

They're basically following what Sony did with Spiderman and then Wolverine.

Although it's unknown how well a Blade game will do. Iron Man or Dr Strange would have been safer bets but Blade was probably the best they could do. Let's see how it turns out.
I actually think Blade is a great fit for an Arkane game. In fact you could reskin Corvo and you’d have half of Blade’s skills already.

Blade jumps and attacks with a sword, much simpler to do than Dr Strange with indirect "spells" and flying.
For gaming Blade is a better IP (considering potential profit)

If it was locked in as an exclusive they would have come out and said it to shut everyone up by now. It's either:

A. MS can't guarantee it is an exclusive title yet due to licensing negotiations.

B. MS have the control over platforms themselves but haven't decided whether to make it exclusive or not yet.

C. The game is multiplatform.

Of course it's exclusive. The best way to make this game be talked about in the internet is make people wonder if it will release on the biggest and most relevant platform in the console market.

If it is exclusive then everyone involved at Xbox who had anything to do with it's announcement, PR etc is as thick as shit.

I fully expect it to be, but then again I think the people running Xbox are thick as shit.

If you guys are really this worried about it just buy a Series S.

Why assume it's a monetary issue for people?

If it turns out to be a good game then people can purchase a console/PC at the time of release that will enable them to play it at the level of performance/visual quality that they desire.

Nobody is worried about it and the series x is $50 more than the s right now. Just xbox doing their studio and newly rented IP a disservice by pushing engagement instead of celebrating a new threshold of success. They got a Marvel IP as an exclusive. That's a big deal for them.

No, if the game is exclusive they would say it’s exclusive. This isn’t like trying to figure out if a girl likes you or not…..

It does not clarify anything regarding the exclusivity or not of Blade, but at least it is a logical reaction when you see that there are communities of casuals users and even media that are treating the announcement as if it were a PS5 exclusivity announcement, no matter how crazy it may seem.

Whether exclusive or not, there was no reason not to express and vocalize the objective relationship of the project with XBOX but they realized quite late.
Waiting for that ftc case to blow over....
I dont know sure100% aboit Blade, but I am sure is key to understand why ABK games have not yet been launched on GPass when it would have been a very beneficial announcement to encourage sales and subscriptions during periods of high sales.

I wonder if Wolverine is exclusive. If it is what clowns. :pie_gsquint:

Why do you think it would be anything other than exclusive? It's being made by Arkane Lyon which is an Xbox 1st party studio. Xbox 1st party was not acquired to make games for Playstation.
Ok. Sony has Spiderman. Pretty sure they were proud to announce they had that exclusive.
Just like Spider-Man right?
Are yall okay? Im not talking about Xbox getting an exclusive game, I’m talking about how Xbox is refusing to comment on if it is or isn’t.

That shadiness is pathetic. Just be forthcoming from the start

Xbox won’t release a game that isn’t “day 1” on gamepass no matter if it’s an Xbox console exclusive or not, just like Starfield..

This game is years from release. Knowing which platforms it will release on really doesn't matter at this point.

Microsoft can still say if the game will be exclusive to Xbox platforms or not. One would think it would be and typically MS has had no problem saying so in the past. I think the only theory about this that holds up is MS doesn't want to give the FTC any more ammunition.

The company that would start every trailer with "Xbox exclusive" being silent if this is confirms it's not exclusive. They know how to exit.

Personally I dont think its a big deal. Nobody cared about Gotham Knights. No one cares about Suicide Squad, Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy. All that matters is if the game is ultimately good. All the IP does is very, very faintly increase visibility for the most casual gamers.
