I guess it depends on whether or not Ninja Gaiden 4 turns out. Mario Galaxy was on my list, but not anymore after seeing the awful comparison shots.

It shouldn't be hard to identify what you want first and what can go on the back burner. If you forget about it over time whilst it's on the back burner then it wasn't that important to you anyway.

Picked up Trails FC and Silent Hill f. Thats its for me until 2026. Wanted also NG 4 but I just played the first one so its a skip until I play the others in the series.
Battlefield its a skip. The games good but Im bad at it, spawning, staying alive for 20 seconds then dying , rinse and repeat its not a good time.

FML DQ remakes are out October? No time. I already have Borderlands 4 I'm playing. Paused Yakuza until Kiwami 3. Tactics in a matter of days and BF6 next week. Also going to try Outer Worlds 2. NO TINGE!

I haven't tried keeping up in donkeys years, if ever. Between now and the new year I'll buy Battlefield and that's it. I'm still working on Elden Ring, 190 hours in. I don't get the mindset that reckons every big new release MUST be played while it is current.

I've completed both and there isnt much out now until next year that I am interested in. The backlog I have of games still has things from 2015 in it, so I have plenty to keep me busy

Holy fuck I hope you're joking, I mean I don't wish it on anyone to be a terminal looser thinking they have to play all the games coming out. Day one and trendy releases be damned, CP 2077 is still getting patched to this day, I can wait. When I played RE1 and Tomb Raider 2 they were many years old and that was never a problem.

This may shock you but some of us enjoy playing a variety of games and find it fun.
No I don't play everything, 99.99% of folks don't, but if I had time this month for 2 games and say 6 really interested me, that makes it tough because every month this year it's felt like at least 2 more things come out every month I really do want to spend time with.
And there's the issue. There isn't enough time. Yes, we all prioritize THE most wanted ones, but it would be nice to be able to play a majority of things that excite you.
I don't see it being a terminal loser to be excited to want to enjoy entertainment but you pop off king.
