Yeah, I'm excited for this, but the multiple-characters-with-different-gameplay-types thing worries me after RE6. I think it'd be really cool if they did something more like the first couple of RE games, where there are two characters but you can choose either one of them to play the campaign with.

This game looks so goofy. It's like one of those late stage Friday 13th or Nightmare movies where they're so out of ideas that it turns into this unwieldy mess of meta winking, fan service, greatest hits scenes and sheer nonsense. My money is one this being the Horror version of RE6.

And also this is the first time I wanna buy it! This is looking more and more The Evil Within 1 levels of crazy. RE4R copy/pasted in there is selling it for me.

I still haven't completed RE6, the game was just too corny and over the top.

Watched it again to make sure I wasn't tripping but this whole thing has a big The Evil Within 1 feel to me. I'm sure it's coincidental but still. Villain dude reminded me of Ruvik, the building, the kind of "all over the place and over the top" vibe. It's a good and fun thing.
