He sucks at games and is kinda happy go lucky, but I do enjoy putting him on if im interested in buying a game, he kinda just plays through and stays positive.

This game is really comparable to a B movie, its so bad that it is good. Well it really does take 11 hours if you really look around for secrets. But i dont like the $50 price. I could have given this game a score of 7/10 instead of 5.5/10 if it was only $20.

Also I have to commend a Western dev not being scared to actually make their female lead an attractive woman with some cake on her. And for having some fanservice in there to boot; tired of weirdos (who generally turn out to be actual misogynists) trying to control how women can be depicted in media or think "the male gaze" is something to defeat like a final boss.

There's nothing inherently wrong with sexy women in media (including games) or fanservice, any more than there's nothing inherently wrong with games featuring guns or swearing. Let adults (whom games like this are targeting) be adults and trust they realize the game is a work of fiction. It's not real, and 99% of the players aren't going to start going out IRL harassing women. If you want to make games without the "male gaze" or games filled with super-hot guys instead, you're free to do so. Just don't demonize the people who want to make games with attractive female characters, either.

If your post was about Stellar Blade we'd all be giving you a thumbs up. But, these people are not the anti-woke devs you think they are. If anything, they're using the anti-woke crowd to sell a bad game. You're allowed to like it all you want, but they know they have to pander to people by putting the main character in her underwear because otherwise is just an extremely short, overpriced buggy game with mediocre gameplay.

Btw, i loved Stellar Blade.

Just play The Killing Antidote. It is horny survival horror except it's actually good from a Chinese indie team.

I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying 'The Killing Antidote'. I didn't go too crazy with the dress-up sexy stuff, just crop top and jeans, but the gameplay is pretty good and carries it. It's as if Resident Evil had a baby with a Chinese game studio.

Oh 100%, you're right about that part. Something like Stellar Blade, even if (God forbid) it didn't have the sexy characters and whatnot, would still have found success as a well-designed and well-made character action game. The same can't be said about Code Violet, and again, it makes the virtue signaling of the devs about not wanting a PC port all the more hilarious in hindsight.

Like it'd seem even games like Haydee have more going for them than this game, and that game was 100% blatant fanservice and nude mod bait.

The difference between Haydee and this is that one doesn't lie to potential customers while this pretends to be something that is not. First off, a small team (it's just 4 brothers making this) should never venture themselves in an action adventure cinematic faux-AAA. It's obviously a scam and it's not their first time.

This game just rips off entire sections and assets of Tomb Raider and Resident Evil. Besides, what kind of people take inspiration from Carnosaur for a serious story !!!?

Those are some decent B-movie slop but trying to bring that into a video game requires very fine control and understanding of how to do so without actually annoying the player with bad game design. Ironically that new Bubsy game coming might be able to pull it off, if that's what they're aiming for.

Also the subtitles said "what do I have to do" and she actually says "where do I need to go" . . .

This is a level of jank I'd consider for like $5 on steam. Definitely not paying $50 on PS5.
