Haptic Gamepads 4 Life
Tons of pathetic aim assist(s)...I mean good luck using a controller on a GAAS shooter!

You're always at a disadvantage on PC against people with much better setups even if you're on m/k yet still people play on crappy 60hz screens and ancient mice. I've personally been doing great on cross-play against people on PC, I don't think it matters that much these days. We're not in the Quake 3 and Unreal era. You're at a disadvantage competitively.
There's going to be hell to pay, crow served and so many pies in so many faces if Sony announces a PC release for a big first party title. Are the rumors being taken as fact?
Because Sony hasn't confirmed anything at all about returning to complete exclusivity for single-player games.
The title is quite pretentious.
Maybe Sony isn't cancelling the PC ports after all. They haven't made an official statement and we've only been hearing rumors and 3rd party reports. I'm going to take this to assume that they may very well continue with the PC ports until they say otherwise themselves.
There's still hope!
That's how I like it.

And if they stopped releasing games for Pc, i don't think they would make a big announcement about it. They would just stop releasing them.Maybe Sony isn't cancelling the PC ports after all. It matters massively lol. The faster paced the shooter the more controller gets left in the dustYou're always at a disadvantage on PC against people with much better setups even if you're on m/k yet still people play on crappy 60hz screens and ancient mice. I agree. People are just finding things to complain and whine about. I play regular PC games with DS4 (in the past) or dualsense, they don't HAVE to be used for PS only games on PC as if there's some unwritten rule.i dont see the issue here?
PC gamers use controller on their PC as well.
The next game would be Yotei, but keep in mind that it's launching in October 2025.When was the last time a first party single player game released on PC? It's been over a year, it's widely reported everywhere. I think it's safe to say it's true, and of course Sony isn't going to come out and say they're done bringing single player titles to PC.
They are here wondering how a Dual Sense controller works, as usual PC techlards are the most incapable gamers in the Universe.somehow pcfats always flew under the radar when it came to shills but they are just as lame
LIke I said, everything is a disadvantage on PC. It ultimately doesn't matter, a controller is "good enough" for most GAAS games and plenty of people use one. Some old-school PC gamers will have their old man yells at cloud moment not being able to comprehend why people would use a controller and that's about it.It matters massively lol. The faster paced the shooter the more controller gets left in the dust
It's so-so. Few games go the extra mile to add haptics. Sony's own stuff have it.How is the haptic support on PC? I know the battery life is poor but I love the controller and haptics on PS5.
To use and abuse aim assist(s) and think it's their merit??LIke I said, everything is a disadvantage on PC. It ultimately doesn't matter, a controller is "good enough" for most GAAS games and plenty of people use one. Most of those games will be best played with a m&k.The reporting says they are cancelling their big single player games for PC, not that they are completely done with the platform and will pretend it doesn't exist.
The cancellation stuff wasn't an official announcement, and even if the reporting is completely accurate they are still planning to release GAAS games on PC: Marathon, Fair Games, Horizon Hunters Gathering, 4Loop and probably whatever Dark Outlaw is working on are all coming to PC + some games from third parties they are publishing like Kena 2.
Yep. Single player first party games is what I understood. The reports are referencing single player games specifically so that shouldn't affect other revenue streams like accessories, live service etc. Console manufacturers have always made a good profit from accessories to help with the loss/break even on the console. Pulling back on sales of that outside PS wouldn't make a lot of sense.
I used the DS almost exclusively playing Helldivers 2. Had no issues.
Jesus Christ, even in a thread about Sony announcing a new controller for PC you guys end up arguing about woke shit?? Forums are getting fucking exhausting to browse these days, holy shit. It's like people have completely lost their minds.
Most of those games will be best played with a m&k.
I prefer playing RDR2 on the PC with a controller over M&K.So?
They'll still have controller support.
The Dualsense also works with pretty much every Steam game that has controller support. And accessories, unlike the main console hardware, are usually high profit margin products.
There's no reason for Sony not to promote the Dualsense on PC.
You're acting like controller support for those games is some sort of draw. It's not. People serious about competitive games on PC use m&k not a controller. So?

You should put a eSports gaming shirt with mom and dad as sponsors and the smelliest sweatpants on so you feel extra competitive.Again, so?
Just pointing that out. I'm ok if you don't like that.Again, so?
There is a larger market for PC games than ever before, and more accessories dedicated to PC gaming (gaming keyboards and mice) than ever before. In any case, playing with a controller is for old people.LIke I said, everything is a disadvantage on PC. Same kind of people who play JRPGs with a mouse.LIke I said, everything is a disadvantage on PC. Schreier gave an opinion on a podcast, people pressed him about it, so he wrote an article in Bloomberg. That's the extent of it.Are the rumors being taken as fact?
Because Sony hasn't confirmed anything at all about returning to complete exclusivity for single-player games.
The title is quite pretentious.
Just pointing that out. I'm ok if you don't like that.
"It works with Marathon and Fairgame$!"
Ok, so what?
It's just not an appealing controller with so much competition in the space. Dualsense support is very limited and the controller has a reputation for being unreliable. Uphill battle for Sony.
That's not something they will announce, it's an internal business strategy, also Blomberg reports are not rumors they are factsAre the rumors being taken as fact?

I never said they shouldn't. I'm just pointing out its not an appealing option no matter what games they continue to port to PC.There's literally no reason for Sony to no longer promote their controller
Great, like it's all unconfirmed rumors for now by "insiders" and those "close to the company". But nevertheless retards and fanboys rejoice. Are the rumors being taken as fact?

Lol, Sony will NEVER say that, but we know it's true.Did sony announce anything about pulling back on PC releases or is it hearsay via reputable journalists?
It's not like they had that much first party output. I might be forgetting something but I think the only "1st party AAA single player game" released by PlayStation Studios on 2025 was Ghost of YĹŤtei, on October. Only six months ago. When was the last time a first party single player game released on PC? It's been over a year, it's widely reported everywhere. I think it's safe to say it's true, and of course Sony isn't going to come out and say they're done bringing single player titles to PC.
It would be nice if Sony released actual software that made the controller work on Windows without something like Steam Input though.
