You must not have been around (in the US at least) in the 80's to 2010s when Star Wars was EVERYWHERE. The sheer amount of Star Wars stuff I had as a kid/teen would beggar the imagination. It's a shadow of what once was.
And 13 mill baby yodas didn't seem to help M&G in the theater (for shame, IMHO).
I do like Disney Star Wars but ever since they bought it, I'm not as into the IP as I used to be. Before they bought it, I was into the Prequel Trilogy and Star Wars EU during my highschool and college years, after those years, I was mostly into The Clone Wars and Star War EU. Now while I have enjoyed some of the Disney Star Wars, it's noticieble less than Luca's Star Wars
I grew up watching the OT trilogy so Luca's Star Wars is more impactful to me. My issue with Disney Star Wars is that they are too afraid to experiment, whatever you say about Lucas, he always experimented with his films. Even with The Clone War shows there were episodes that were vastly different from the rest of the show. It's one of the reasons why The Clone Wars is my favorite Star Wars
Instead I'm more of a MCU/Marvel Comics fan than I am a Star Wars fan. Yes Post Phase 3 has a lot of issues but I still liked a lot of stuff Post Phase 3. And I credit MCU for getting me to read more of the comics
When Mando And Grogu movie comes out on digital, I'll most likely enjoy it more than the rest of the Star Wars Disney has put out in regards to movies. The only Disney Star Wars Movie I loved was Rogue One, the rest I hated
When it comes to their Disney Star Wars TV, it's been mostly mixed, for every The Mandolorian Season 2, Skeleton Crew, Book of Boba Fett (Bite ME) and Andor there's crap like The Acolyte and Obi-Wan. Ahsoka wasn't bad, it was just super boring to me, here's hoping Season 2 is much better
EDIT - I'm also looking forward to when Hokum, Obsession and Backrooms comes to digital
