No issues on the sound.Holy shit are the runner voicelines bugged for anyone else? Its crackling like a mfer, destroying my ear
Also the aim assist is heavily nerfed, like really nerfed. Not sure about sentinel. His kit is really situational
Now the sound is good, it was weirdNo issues on the sound.
The aim assist was tied to frame rates thats why it felt mega sticky for us, like that bug in Arc Raiders. Looks like they sorted it.
I'm on public wifi but things have not exactly been stable for me either.I am for some reason still rubber banding really hard in game right now its already cost me some matches. Dashed across buildings as destroyer only to rubber band mid air and fall straight down to the ground wtf
I found him useful vs blue and purple shield bots nade spams, and also the rocket drones. His radar may be useful against assassinsNot sure about sentinel. His kit is really situational
Dark. What's the early impression of Night Marsh?
Sponsored Night Marsh seems very chill. It is meant to have a trio and rooks but the rooks rarely/never seem to spawn. So as a trio you can basically do whatever you want, including splitting up etc. You can even go to the top floor of Complex. What's the early impression of Night Marsh?

This is what im talking about, high level gear is available right from the off and they even gave the sweats a shit loads of blue and purple kits.My ass is getting violated by purple teams already

wait, controller is better than KBM? I'll try playing this on a controller tomorrow.Really enjoyed my first day. It took some time to get used to the much weaker aim assist, but man its so smooth now with framegen. Loving the UI improvements too and the progression is super fast
I mean kbm will always be better, but controller is great in this game. Aim assist is heavily nerfed now tho, it was disgusting in S1wait, controller is better than KBM? I'll try playing this on a controller tomorrow.
ah ok thanks, I'll stick with KBM.I mean kbm will always be better, but controller is great in this game. Aim assist is heavily nerfed now tho, it was disgusting in S1
Maybe you should rethink your strategy of engaging with bots, we wiped many teams trying to sneak attack us while we were doing secure containers and commanders. Jf you get caught while you're hassling bots in the open it shouldn't be surprising when other teams have the upper handbots have been absolutely ripping our asses. The amount kf damage they gave them esp grenades is ridiculous. For everyone starting out w free gear all you have to do is go push a team fighting bots to win.
What is a season? 500 hours, 100 hours? 50 hours? A season is as long or as short as the player decides. Having a 200-300+ hour grind every season like last season would put even me off. The Main progression loop should last no longer than 100 hours if you ask me. Sweats can grind Ranked once they are maxed out should the feel like it and Bungo could do some limited timed modes for x2 XP and fun side modes to bring people back for a weekend or two.I've noticed that bots are more dangerous, more present, and more persistent. I almost experienced a squad in purples wipe while doing intercept while North Relay was reinforced with a red drop ship. The rocket bot's range and accuracy feels improved since it was fucking me from almost a POI away on Dire Marsh. The bots aren't simply something to ignore anymore and that is great for the game. I think PvE would be compelling if the UESC is made just a bit harder. Maybe improving the RoF or accuracy of the basic guys since they still pose a threat.
Loot and levelling have swung too far towards casual. I've already found most of my biolenses from playing like two hours on perimeter. I've played maybe 3h total and I'm level 22 with access to good health kits, implants, etc. I feel like I'll reach level 100 in half the time at this rate. Bungie still needs to work on ensuring the progression loop lasts a full season. On the flip side, the abundant amount of loot means there is no excuse for anybody to stay out of Cryo. Acclimating people to the game at its best is bound to help retention.
I've been doing my part helping free players out in fills. My experience has been that the biggest barrier to PvP in any game is mental. People become stressed even when asked to play chess against another person for many reasons which all boil down to fear of losing and fear of humiliation. I'm bringing shields and carrying them through contracts. I hoover up all the good loot then share it so my teammates have a chance to wet their beaks. My friend and I kill entire teams then let our fill in third get the rush of first loot. I offer to run it back if they die to show that a loss is only a round away from the next high. I hope it helps.
Yeah I am unsure how I want to engage with season 2 currently. What is a season? 500 hours, 100 hours? 50 hours? A season is as long or as short as the player decides. I do think they have swung slightly too far in the other direction, but it's miles better so far. I feel like im getting somewhere most runs. If i hit 100 and max everything again in half the time or less then drop off until the end of season shenanigans then that would be perfect.
Yeah I was I bit put off at first but I'm back on board after a few hours just now. Same deal as last season for me, level up factions and now the Cradle. I'm Focusing on Nucal for now.Yeah I am unsure how I want to engage with season 2 currently.
I have a vault 1&2 key currently for cryo and ideally I'd like to get those subroutines done this season. Thats my main "goal."
I'd also like to finish the new story line quests but I am unsure how this works. Is it the new third column is the new quests? Or do I need to run through column one?
The menu shit is mind boggling.Yeah I was I bit put off at first but I'm back on board after a few hours just now. Same deal as last season for me, level up factions and now the Cradle. I'm Focusing on Nucal for now.
The old priority contracts can be ignored if you want as far as i can tell. None of them unlock anything in the shops like last season although they do off more XP sometimes than regular ones. The ones on the right i think are the new ones like you say but I've not done any yet. All of them are just XP farms now with rewards I guessing.
Think the Cradle is the most important I think with the way the loot table is at the minute. They have basically left it the same as season one's end and its very easy to get gear, too easy if you are coming from season one. On top of that the sponsored playlist is basically free uncontested loot and needs to go if you ask me, its game breaking.
Gold Star for Dark Marsh, very enjoyable in regular trios.
Also fuck me they actually made the menus worse. Fire somebody immediately.
Yeah it needs a ton of work. Nice to play with zero pressure every now and again but thats 90% of the fun removed for me.While I enjoy Sponsored Narsh, I feel maybe Bungie could increase the enemy density slightly, maybe spread them around maps more. So far have not found any rooks in this mode. There's honestly little to no resistance in this mode, which I imagine will feel stale very fast. The husks also appear more frequently towards the end of the run it seems. The times that I failed to exfil is because I got stuck in that complex and got lost on my way out.

If they are doing stuff like this to test at the start of seasons the loot needs to be compromised and give everyone loads of credits on exfil or something for helping the test.
A season for most players is what I'll manage in under a couple of weeks, it should be the player who decides how long the season is for them not Bungie. The fact that last seasons grind was out of reach for most players was the issue.Bungie defines seasons in Marathon. Why bother having 3 month seasons if you can finish it in a week and go play something else? Rust is one of the most successful games with weekly map wipes and monthly progression wipes. My issue was with the slope of progression caused by gold salvage rather than the length of the grind. I had everything unlocked except gold-blocked stuff at 100 hours. The gap between unlocking green shields and blue shields was also absurdly broad. The changes to keys as well as the addition of gold salvage to events was probably enough to achieve completion in your desired time frame with some of the grind being moved to crucible. S2 corrected way too far with the battlepass and sponsored kits further accelerating the game. I was hoping for the ratchet early wipe phase to last more than a few hours. Fortnite does seasons best. "Finishing" a battlepass by reaching level 100 takes 60-100 hours. Actually completing a battlepass by unlocking all of the prestige stuff takes 150-200 hours. It works out to an hour or two a day depending how far in the pass one wants and there are plenty of catchup mechanics for casual players.
Aside, Who is a sweat to you? Aren't you the sweatiest of us? You put in more than twice the hours I did. Am I your benchmark for casual?
I've only tried N-Darsh as a rook twice. I killed the team then died to a rook from behind so they are definitely there. Is the loot table identical to trios nightmarsh
Yeah its cool as fuck. They should do the same with Perimeter as well.God i love night marsh, first time i looted that darksight, it looks so fucking cool
