I play it daily and I haven't paid a penny. I very rarely run out of stamina, and if I do I've always got magic stones to hand anyway. Stamina replenishes in full when you level up too which always seems to happen just when I want it to. I've played much, much worse as far as IAP goes.

I don't know if I'm getting lucky because I log in every day (which gets you bonuses), but I've never felt the need to open my wallet.

Good point. Playstations at launch are the exception to the rule. They sell on hype alone. Heck, it even killed the dreamcast on hype and promises alone.

Don't be daft with the oversimplifying. Perhaps at launch software matters less, especially when it's the first new console launch from Sony in 7 years. Yet for a system that is severely struggling and fairly new like WiiU software matters most.

I was talking about the new direct in 23 minutes. The games shown there will determine the future o the Wii U and if it is just a holiday blurb or if there will be a trend of good and frequent software which will lead to better sales.

That plus anyone who knows anything about gaming knows that the PS4 is going to be getting a shit ton of 3rd party support. So whilst the games might not be there now you know they're coming.

I rechecked and 75k wasn't quite Wii numbers... The numbers I thought about where from 2008 where the Wii went from 50k to 90k, but it looked more like 100k-200k other years.

The holiday season has always treated Nintendo extremely well, and it looks like this year won't be any different. Nintendo needs to really take advantage of this opportunity--grab the momentum gained from festive sales and carry it through the next year. They need to start doubling down, which they easily could. We'll see what they have to announce in this Nintendo Direct.

It's strange how much I want to see Nintendo succeed. I'm not sure why.

Vita is ok, it has the games like God Eater 2 but why does it only get 5-7k boost each week?

This is the mario effect in full force there. Now, this is about how Mario 3D World will, or not, gain strengh and have legs. The chance of Nintendo is if the game becomes somewhat "viral" from word of mouth, and create a community with its multi.

Puzzle & Dragons is weak as a puzzle game and its RPG elements are weak too. I don't see why it sells so well , everything it does is done poorly.
