I know the forum is super busy right now, but I thought this was funny enough to post.

In the 1-Up news story about Xenosaga 3 (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3143690) they link to GAF with the text "somewhere inside the Internet's sewage canals". When you click on sewage canals, they send you to GAF.

Here is the quote...

Look for an official unveiling with high-resolution screen shots, an overly lengthy, cutscene heavy trailer alongside the game's debut at the Tokyo Game Show later this week. We'll have more then, unless you happen to accidentally find some scans form the game somewhere inside the Internet's sewage canals.

1up has absolutely no credibility in my eyes as I don't even read them.

But... GAF is close to their description. It's not a sewage canal however. Imagine the Roman FORUM, with all the hustle and bustle of a great Imperial capital. Strip away the common people, the tradesmen, the slaves, the craftspeople.

Leave a bunch of high minded Noblemen and Aristocrats bickering in the Senate using the people ad hoc but representing only their narrow interests and you have GAF.

So GAF is the Senate of Rome!

Oh yeah... I know. There are a ton of journalists and game industry people (myself included) that post here... It is why I love GAF! This is where the hardcore of the hardcore come. Sometimes you just have to wade though a lot of crap to get to the good stuff :) :) .

I posted it because I thought it was hilarious! Sort of an inside joke to everyone here...

You all have to admit.... If you are a gamer, there is no place like GAF!
