I've just been playing this game non-stop over the Holidays and it's simply awesome.

An airy, heartfealt story.
The grounded traversal & physicality of gameplay.
The graphics & Carribean aesthetics.
Badass characters of Kenway, Adewale, Blackbeard & Vane.
The feel of sailing the open seas with Shanties...
I love it's unique identity. Never trying to be a core AC at heart & sticking to its guns made the experience something special.

A fun, enjoyable Pirate Adventure with soul..
Really a breath of fresh air. Along with AC2 a highlight for this series.

Man I just love this treasure of a bad boy.

After 10 years AC IV: Black Flag is still the best single player Pirate narrative.

Insane no one else has managed to tackle or surpass this in 10 years...and no, Sea of Thieves doesn't count.

I only got into AC over the past few months.. played AC, AC II, Brotherhood, Revelations, Origins, and Odyssey. I just picked up III and Black Flag late last year and can't wait to give them a try.. ! The old ones are awesome, Brotherhood is my favorite so far, but I've heard a lot of great things about Black Flag and am excited to get to it.
