Austin, TX – 2/08/2024 – EXODUS, the new AAA Sci-Fi Action-Adventure Role-Playing Game from Archetype Entertainment, revealed at The Game Awards (TGAs) annual event in Los Angeles last month, has announced a co-development partnership with the team at Certain Affinity.

In December, video game and movie fans were stunned by the reveal of EXODUS at The Game Awards in Hollywood. The cinematic storytelling and amazing visuals combined with Matthew McConaughey’s introduction of the game made EXODUS one of the most talked about and anticipated games from the show. Archetype Entertainment has assembled a highly experienced and talented team of developers from across the industry. Today, they revealed that co-development powerhouse Certain Affinity is also working to help bring the ambitious vision for EXODUS to life. Together, the combined teams working on EXODUS have contributed to some of the most engaging and beloved action and roleplaying franchises ever, including Baldur’s Gate®, Diablo®, KOTOR®, Halo®, and many more.

Certain Affinity has been working closely with AE as a lead co-development partner on the new AAA video game project since 2022, partnering with Archetype’s Executive Creative Director, and co-founder, James Ohlen (formerly Lead Designer of Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, as well as Star Wars®: Knights of the Old Republic®), and alongside the studio’s VP, Executive Producer and co-founder, Chad Robertson (formerly the Studio Director for EA BioWare).
