a txt adventure game creator would be great....

i REALLY should know about this stuff, but to my shame i dont...

I'm pretty positive there's a text game creator engine... Also, for ASCII graphics you have ZZT and MegaZeux , and for a bit more complicated, the RPG Maker series is good.
