Anyways, most of the modern soundtracks are simply shit. Like everyone attended the same school, had the same teachers and everyone was influenced by the same things and everyone always uses the same instruments. Or maybe research is non existent in music circles, I don't know... Mind boggling, but most AAA titles have really, really, terrible shitty music. I call it safe music.

These are from 30+ year old C64 games, and it makes your blood boil. Or something like Rammstein's Feuer Frei which is perfect when going against the traffic 100 km/h+ lol.

Btw, what the fuck HGW is doing? Kojima + HGW should do some crazy shit again. Why big studios are not experimenting with movie composers, like Eric Serra? Kojima was also a pioneer in this regard. That guy had big cojones back then.
