4K on a handheld? Dude, I even run my ROG Ally at 720p because it's enough.

I remember this stupid argument when Iphone users were saying 720p is all you need and then the day they got a 1080p screen they were going on and on about how much better it was. Don’t be a fanboy. 1080p does make a difference at that size and if you can’t see it i suggest seeing an eye doctor. As for 4k i will agree with you on that. Not a lot of payoff at that size for the power requirements.

I love the idea of the Steam Deck except for the screen (it is a bit lacklustre in my opinion) but at this point cannot bring myself to buy one because it is a first-gen product that will be much better in its next iteration and will hopefully have an OLED screen. I am more than happy to wait to see what Valve release next.
