Epic Store Free Games

Did I notice that you don't have to go through the payment step for free games now? I clicked on pay and it just added the game to my library more like how GOG does it.

Hogwarts Legacy being a repeat is welcomed by me for once. I tried redeeming last time it was available and the store errored out and I forgot to go back during the week and redeem it.

Epic store is having a 'mega' sale right now.
Uncharted 4 for $14.99
Red Dead 2 $14.99
GTA V $14.99

This is a good chance to get Last of Us part 2. Buy it on Epic that way it doesn't show up in my Steam library next to part 1.
I show everyone online that I did not buy the game but secretly actually play it on Epic store. :sneaky:

Recently they changed purchase/game adding so that it was just one click for the freebies, now it's back to redirecting to a different page to confirm and then an additional pop up to confirm again on top of that, weird.

Those aren't free which is the purpose of this thread.

It's a breed of cat. You can't copyright English words.

you can absolutely do that... remember when Scrolls got into legal trouble because Bethesda said they own the rights to the word Scrolls because of Elder Scrolls?

you can get the rights to a generic word in some cases, like when you specifically want to use it for a game.
