ATLUS U.S.A., INC. LAUNCHES THE OFFICIAL U.S. GALLEON WEBSITE

From the creator of Lara Croft comes an epic tale of action, adventure, romance, evil and mystery!

Irvine, CA, July 14, 2004 - Atlus U.S.A., Inc., a leading publisher of interactive entertainment, today announced the launch of the official Galleon website at http://www.galleon-game.com. The site will feature the latest screenshots, game information, videos, wallpaper, as well as a dedicated message board. Galleon is a unique 3rd person action adventure game on Microsoft Xbox featuring an epic tale of action, adventure, romance, evil and mystery, from the creator of Lara Croft in the fall of 2004.

About Galleon:

Galleon introduces the swashbuckling captain Rhama Sabrier, a new type of action hero - tall, dark, handsome, and highly skilled in martial arts. He is quick-witted and an obvious hit with the ladies. Journey with Rhama on his epic quest to unlock the mystery of an enchanted ship and discover the source incredible powers - before a treacherous enemy does. As the story unfolds, Rhama must rely on more than just his charm and wit, fending off fiendish adversaries � from mercenaries to 250 ft. monsters - using swords, pistols and his martial arts skills. The latest XBN was very enthusiastic about the title, surprisingly.

I'm not more interested. But since you mentionned XBN, I bought my first issue of that magazine yesterday, and I'm very impressed. It's up there with Play, minus the emphasis on T&A + odd reviews. I'm considering to switch my EGM subscription to this if I can.

Please you all, don't look only at the tecnical side of the game! This game is great and deserves to be played!

It does deserve a go, the context sensitive movement is great and the game is pretty fun. Would have been better as a budget release but after seven years I guess you have to recoup what you can.
