Today's Hell Let Loose developer briefing explains that the team is calling on the gaming community to record the voices of the soldiers for the game.
But don't expect hearing “GAMEPADS SUCKS” on the battlefield as the developers have very specific instructions. They thus have a list of 11 sounds on both the American and German side:
Wilhelm Scream:
1. Famous Wilhelm cry, featured in more than 400 films.
Lethal damage:
2. Take a bullet in the head.
3. Take a bullet in the body.
4. Being run over by a vehicle.
5. Getting dismembered.
6. Drown.
Non-lethal damage:
7. Take a bullet.
8. Damage suffered from an explosion.
9. You fall.
10. You are burning / Are on fire.
Of course, it will also be necessary to respect a very particular format, a duration, etc. You can find details in the article posted on Steam. Please note that you only have until September 2 to participate.
