People are really dense in this thread.

haha seriously; I'm wondering if they just looked at the pictures and then replyed immeadiately, because I can't fathom them reading the responses and still thinking the dude actually found the camera.

Man, you might wanna look at that camera you found. Judging from all the responses, I'm not the only one that sees what I'm seeing, but in some of those pictures theres some crazy stuff. Skulls, shadows of people. Man I'd get rid of that thing if I were you.

i don't feel like hunting the original thread down, but i'd like to see if the EXIF data was in the original files. Many times it'd be possible to get the owner's name, and practically every detail about the camera settings from it. And yes, i know this is fake. The quality of the shots almost gave it away - most S20 owners just point and click.

how do you read the exif data anyway? clicking properties and advanced yields most of the stuff, but i know more detailed data is usally recorded.

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
This kind of reminded me. Several months ago on another forum someone posted a link to the site of some professional photographer who's taken dozens of photos of weird old run-down places, and they have a very Session 9-esque atmosphere to them. They're pretty freaky as well, especially if you've seen Session 9 (which I highly recommend if you're into slow-paced, atmospheric horror movies). I'll try to find that site.

So you live in Silent Hill?

I was going to say that when the thread was first started. But the one minute post limit was just pissing me off!

not only is there someone in the window on the right, but notice the boy sitting down to the left of the main window above the yellow flowers. he blends in with the wall real well. pretty cool.

Dude, you should really turn in that camera. It's not yours and you'd be pretty upset if someone just......heh just kidding. Jeez people, read before posting.

These photos are great. This is what I want next generation graphics to look like.

Where IS that?! I love exploring that kinda crap! Of course, it's even better when the place isn't totally torn down like that...

Walking around abandoned facilities back in the woods at night is quite enjoyable to me. :p

i use Irfanview. (image > information > EXIF info). There's also a cool picture management program called Pixvue that adds expanded EXIF reading to Windows Explorer, so you can view the properties of a file with EXIF data and it'll pull up more info than XP.

Haunted Camera reminds me of that Temco horror game. What was it called again? The one with the twins and the camera as their weapon. You see the spirits with it.

Great pictures. Where is this forest located? It's a great setting for a midnight weed party.

... :\

These pictures are cool. I can't say I'd want to walk through these woods, but, well, it's neat to look at.

Those are pretty freakin sweet. It does have a Silent Hill/ Blair Witch like feel to them. The ones looking down the stairs are awesome. This photographer has some real skill. Awesome location too. I wouldn't mind finding out that this is a lead in to another Blair Witch style movie or something. Kinda sucks that this is just a quick internet hoax. I like hoaxes they are fun. :D
