It's been awhile

Back in grade school and early high school my drawing skills were above average for my age, but as time went on, I stopped drawing, and now..... well, I can't draw for beans.

Seeing as how I'm heavily into stuff like music composition, filmmaking and writing, I figure that being able to draw would compliment my other interests greatly.

So how can I learn to draw again?

I know a lot of you will say 'JUST DRAW', but it can't be that simple?

I need to know some basics, what direction to go in, etc.

Any help? I know there's a lot of talented artists on this forum.........

Haha, we should get another game going, but it's 1 in the morning over here and I gotta work tomorrow, so I'm off to bed

Seriously though that is the best advice, if you really were decent at one point it'll come back into place with a little bit of practice. I barely drew anything for a good 2 years and it took a couple weeks but I got my own skillz back. Just keep at 'er.
