You just said it; women/girls are already here. And they like it the way it was/is. Trying to sell anyone else on games at this point is a lost cause. Nobody has a problem understanding this when it comes to mobile gamers on console; everyone who isn't Microsoft or a shill analyst understands that mobile gamers are just not looking to engage in core gaming.Why not? Women/girls are already playing games, there's no reason to at least try at expanding that demographics.
The same goes for the vast majority of women.
This lesson has been replicated in comics, books, films and TV at this point. This data just goes to show how massive the gap is for games compared even to those.
