That's an unhealthy amount of implication to attach to completely harmless word choice, and an excuse to be preemptively dismissive if you don't think you're going to like what's being said.

Here is a small list of words or word usage which might cause me to be preemptively dismissive of the speaker's "message"

Problematic.

Misogynistic.

The reason is related to my original comment in this thread ... These stupid buzzwords have snuck their way into usage in order to make the issue they are speaking of sound more sinister than the words they've replaced used to.

Yeah, the original DKR made social commentary as well, but it wasn't the main focus and it folded into the overall narrative. This one is just dumb as neither villain would give to shits about Trump. Darkseid is literally a physical representation of all that is evil and Joker is so psychotic that it's actually believed it's come full circle and he's some super genius who finds the world to be a joke. For the most part, DC tosses the SJW shit to a side and let it quietly die, it was the entire point of the Vertigo brand. With Vertigo gone, they have been allowing SJW books to spread into "spin-offs" that aren't very good and sell worse. It's almost like their doing it out of some sort of obligation.
