Looks better but ffs can they give a woman tits holy shit…
Yeah, they seem quite against it, even reboot, Rise and iirc Shadow was better in that regard. Ah well, glad she at least looks like a female.

Rise? Isn't that the one that Xbox payed 100 million for it to be exclusive and flopped harder than penguin?
Personally I'm a big fan of the new design.
1. Character face is beautiful, especially compared to the retarded funny eyebrow look of prequel trilogy Lara. Her face has more of a Mediterranean like classic Lara too, thicker lips. Breasts are smaller than classic Lara, but I still love it.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA
I....don't think a woman "technically" athletic can have enormous tits, guess it's about mainly for the sake of the more "realistic" look?Looks better but ffs can they give a woman tits holy shit…
I'm not very good with words, but luckily I'm a Paint expert. Let me explain why having large boobs isn't good for Lara's job:Looks better but ffs can they give a woman tits holy shit…
Gymnastic is back?! That's cool.
Ok, but why didn't they fix the rounding error?I think they were going to give her more, but there was a rounding error.
Same thing at this point.Looks more Indian than English. Not a fan of the perma scowl or the peck boobs. Old school for me.
I would bet that game's development is close to the amount Xbox paid for. The game literally had a sequel afterwards. And even after Xbox paid 100 million the game still sold over 10M copies WW. Hardly a flop.Rise? Isn't that the one that Xbox payed 100 million for it to be exclusive and flopped harder than penguin?
I don't particularly care how she looks. I liked the old look. I liked the Reboot look. This is fine too, but looks a little cartoonish honestly.
Really just waiting to see what the gameplay design is like. That's all that has ever mattered in Tomb Raider. She's virtually a blank slate avatar and barely matters aside from some polygonal eye candy for 13 year olds.
Ban this guy for reminding me that I am a living fossilPeople just have no idea how big this character was back then. Once the second game released you literally had the sentence "featuring Lara Croft" below Tomb Raider II like she was a famous actress:

The woman was the cover of magazines that had nothing to do with videogames:

She transcended the videogame industry and was the first woman to do so.
Both I guess. It looks fine. Just reminds me a bit of the mobile game, Relic Run. Her iconic outfit is so carefully adhered to it looks a little cartoonish and unrealistic to me. But it's fine. Looks pretty good. Are you referring to the box art or screenshots?
She looks Italian to me, 100% sure.Looks more Indian than English. Not a fan of the perma scowl or the peck boobs. Old school for me.
I was a sucker for that back in the day, but all I see today when looking at some of those old renders is Michael Jackson.I don't particularly care how she looks. I liked the old look. I liked the Reboot look. This is fine too, but looks a little cartoonish honestly.

It was a big deal at the time. That handstand animation turned boys into men.I was a sucker for that back in the day, but all I see today when looking at some of those old renders is Michael Jackson.
That's a fair point and you're right, Tomb Raider 1 was more of an exploration game, I have never played Tomb Raider series but i have TR 1-3 Remastered installed to check it out. What I really appreciate about the PS1 Tomb Raider games is the focus on spatial navigation. Yes, combat is solid, for a PS1 game, as well, sure. But to me, Tomb Raider was a "navigation problem" first. And I feel the last games strongl went away from this and were more like Uncharted. And Uncharted is a third-person game with some very light navigation in-between. Even the most non-linear Uncharted, The Lost Legacy, is still pretty "hand-holdy". I hope Crystal Dynamics go a bit back to the original Tomb Raider in that regard.
Maybe it's just me, though. I dunno. But I can at least report that I regularly had thoughts like "Ok. How the fuck do I get up there? Wait... could I make this gap? That seems wide as fuck. Ah but there's a wall at the end there that will block me. Fuck. Well, I guess I will just try it anyway." while playing the old Tomb Raider games. And I never once had thoughts like these when I played any of the new ones (or Uncharted games). And I kinda miss this, tbh. That's a fair point and you're right, Tomb Raider 1 was more of an exploration game, I have never played Tomb Raider series but i have TR 1-3 Remastered installed to check it out.
agreed but thats never coming back in focus-tested aaa world i fear, there are probably 20 frustrated testers against 1 that likes that sort of trial-error probably.Maybe it's just me, though.
