Since pcsx2 does not support any of the PS2 based arcade boards with exclusive games and content someone formed it. Still WIP but it'll be here soon. And that doesn't suck
mee too as well, hmm, this is newFirst time I heard about PS2 based arcade board. I thought only PS1 had it with the System 11.
Well good news then haha. That's what this is becomingWould be awesome to play Tekken 4 and Soul Calibur III: Arcade Edition on a Namco System 246 emulator.
The collaborative Definitive Edition mod on 8WayRun?i was just playing SoulCalibur III: Arcade Edition last night. what a great mod.
PS3 also had arcade based hardware.First time I heard about PS2 based arcade board. I thought only PS1 had it with the System 11.

Namco System 357Never heard of that too. I always thought most arcade would have adopt to using X86 architecture (PC) to run 3D games when graphic cards got better.
It is damn good but I would be lying if I said it was the same as System 246's Arcade Edition.yeah, its great
There's a PS3 based arcade board Namco used (System 357) which would be the last PlayStation based arcade board. It's not that custom compared to the previous boards, they literally planted a launch PS3 motherboard (complete with the PS2 EE/GS that never gets used by its games). The OS is slightly different which prevents retail games from booting but it does have an XMB interface of some sort.mee too as well, hmm, this is new
thanks, I never dwells on arcade emulator much beside mame. and last time I'm using mame, the user interface still stuck like in the early 2000s and made me only use when i really need itCool, it better than waiting another 10 years for MAME to start emulating it.

Namco would later use their own custom PC design for future games.
You can use a modern frontend or the "Arcade" fork of Mame that only shows the arcade games and not anything else.thanks, I never dwells on arcade emulator much beside mame. and last time I'm using mame, the user interface still stuck like in the early 2000s and made me only use when i really need it
