You keep repeating that as if I've been making that argument, even though I've already clarified the difference lol.
The only real difference here is that quick resume lets you keep your exact spot, which is indeed pretty cool. Although I wouldn't call it any faster for jumping between games, as it still requires navigation through a menu and very brief loading between games, much like PS5 cards.
Games autosave frequently, and now load extremely quick. So even if you have to work 48+ hours a week or have family responsibilities as you've put it, you're still saving an incredible amount of time in the long term jumping between games. You're still waiting only several seconds either way.
I guess it just comes down to a difference between playing habits. Whether you're the type of player who sticks to one or two titles to completion. Or you have a tendency of dipping in and out multiple titles in the same gaming session.
Also if you frequently like to play online competitive titles, keeping your exact spot wouldn't even be possible.
I keep repeating it because people like you still don’t seem to understand.
It is much faster jumping between games that are in quick resume because no, it doesn’t require you jumping through menus and loading between games like ps5 cards. This again shows that you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what quick resume is.
Think of it like this, I’ll try dumb it down to the simplest it can get with an example no one should be able to misunderstand.
Netflix.......
Do you ever stop watching a movie or tv show mid way though?
Netflix have quick resume. You can start watching 5 different movies and quit out of them mid way through, at any second, and then can pick up right where you left off instantly another day. That’s the Xbox.
If it was like the PS5, you wouldn’t be able to do that, instead you would have to flick through all the cards to find one closest to where you think you were in the movie. There might be a card to resume playback At every 10 minute interval. The problem is if you stopped watching at 28:35 then you have to either watch from 20 or 30.
Would you be on here arguing that the “card” system is better then, like you are now? No, you wouldn’t, because the card system is clearly worse.
It has nothing to do with how many games you play in one session on one day. I can start a game today, pause mid race, and then not play that game for another month but then pick up
exactly where I left it. It’s amazing that you still keep trying to downplay this just because your console of choice doesn’t have it.
