It was a bit disappointing. The only game that really excited me was Diablo IV. Starfield looks decent but hard for it to live up to the hype people have given it, basically looks like Fallout in space, which is fine for me, I'll definitely play it day 1.
Unfortunately this was largely a Gamepass trailer, and highlights the future of these services, very few AAA standalone games, numerous GaaS updates to games we've been seeing for years and a lot of B-tier filler games. Don't get me wrong, Gamepass is still good value if you're happy to play what they serve you, you'll always have stuff to play, but as someone who is now having to start paying £10+ a month for it and already has a massive backlog of games on all platforms, this show has made me think that I'll just pause my sub now until mid 2023 and then sub for a couple of months to play through Starfield and some Indies
