Square Enix has released a new trailer for The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story introducing the live-action mystery adventure game‘s main theme song and cast.

Also, why do japanese cut some scenes by using lens flares?

It reminds me of the screen effect in Siren:Blood Curse when a shibito spots you.
What the hell is this?
It's an FMV mystery adventure game that Square Enix announced a few months back. The way the game works, basically, is that you watch a ~20 minute video where clues are presented to you, then there's a reasoning phase where you match up the evidence to make deductions & theories, then you name the culprit. There's also a gimmick where the same actors play various roles, so the culprit in one case could be the victim in the next.
