thoughts:
-about 30,000 strong at heinz field in pittsburgh (oh, the footballing hotbed) - so not bad at all.
- the crowd was pretty lively. lots of good fights and the like.
- joe cole is amazing. it is a crime he isn't playing every minute for england. his first goal was a beautiful touch.
- totti seriously sat around on his fucking ass the whole game. he didn't even want to be there.
- cech, chelsea's new keeper seemed really solid when he was tested.
- Robben is my new favorite player. he bitch slapped a Roma substitute after being cheaply brought down. scrum insues....it was superb
- chelsea is deep as hell this year. the new kid parker didn't really look all that great, but robben and drogba and especially joe cole look ace.
