The world of tomorrow. Sci-Fi Unique Real Time Action Rpg.
Brief description:
Doing a multiplatform (linux/windows/mac.) 2d rpg, that
will be similar in style to fallout series.
The 2d map engine supports multiple maps at once, and features a built in lightmapper that prodces a ray traced, normal mapped map.
Maps are layer based. Not Iso-metric but might be.
Each tile has a it's own unique normal map, the same as in 3D engines.
Target aim:
Game will be episodic. Episode 1 will be on sale in four months.
Game is centered around a post fusion bombed world. The game begins in a derilect Cyborg factory, where Hal Sapaian. The progtagonist, awakens.
He is a man fused with the dna of a cyborg. A blend of hardware and organic nature.
He finds his way out of the factory and befriends a wise ass Talking robot called "TomBot".
Compensation:
Even split of all profits. Can be put in writing. I.e Three Team Members = 33.33.33.333.333.333.333.333 (Damn maths..)% each.
Technology:
100% Windows/ Mac/Linux support. Same code base,
so no platform lagging.
OpenGL/DirectX Support. Custom Map engine/Lightmapper solution. Normal Mapped Tiles. 360 Map Rotation.
Per Pixel Tile Selection at any rotation.

Talent needed:
Talented 2D Artist with animation skills if applying for character artist.
Capable of drawing tiled map pieces and Animated characters.
Team structure:
I'm Lead Programmer. Dreamspace is my own thing, but recently
begun working with another artist on this.
Team structure will be lead by my coding but overall decisions
will be agreed on by all.

Actual tiles used are not from the game.

Map engine is capable of 360 degree real time rotation.
Custom Map Editor also lets you edit whilst rotating for
ease of design.
Maps have their own compressed format which includes all tiles, so your work remains (c) protected.
