So is that officially trophies for characters not on the roster? I assume he isn't but wondering why the trophy is such solid confirmation that he's not in.

I agree; I would've bet money Toon Link wasn't in back in the day. I wonder... If I go to bed now, how much leak will I have to wake up to?

Fox and Falco had multiple trophies in Brawl, but the fact that the trophy is just called "Wolf" and not, like, "Wolf (Assault)" like the extra Star Fox trophies were in Brawl suggests that he isn't playable.

Which makes sense, because there was no good reason to think that the ESRB leak wasn't the final roster. Just false hope.

The ESRB roster, both characters and stages, are the final rosters (barring potential DLC), mark my words.

Should we have an official leak thread or keep it here? I'm willing to make one. I feel like there are tons of people not on Smash GAF that would be interested in this stuff.

Oh well, yeah, the leak makes this hurt less. Albeit man, it's gonna be a sad experience to spot Ice Climbers and Lucas trophies. At least Snake fans won't get a reminder in any way :p

It deconfirms him because all the playable characters get their trophies via clearing Classic/All Star, not buying them on the shop.

To be fair, the padlock does suggest that the ESRB roster isn't final. It could go either way.

Well, the All-Star mode from the leak could've been from a different save, a different build or even taken by a different person with a different copy than the CSS, since it was all from a video compilation, and there's nothing that suggests is was all taken from a single system in a single save state.

There's also the fact that the Japanese commercials say there are "over 40 characters", and the leaked roster is 48 characters. I guess there's room for 1 or 2 characters more if you don't count the Miis, but that's the best case scenario.
