edit: Hmmm. It seems like it's horde mode. I was just hoping for new themed maps/weapons.

I can confirm that it's unlikely Steam will help. Years and years ago people talked about proving ownership by taking a photo of physical CD keys and getting Valve to move them, but it's been awhile since I've heard of that. It's also probably related to no one buying physical copies of games that activate on Steam much anymore.

A long time ago I found my Half-Life key and forgot I already had a steam account so it was activated on a different one. I figured Valve would let be sympathetic and help me out with that one because it's not like they had to deal with another company. Nope. Support said no and didn't care about me proving ownership. Fortunately for me, maybe a year ago, copies of Day of Defeat or another game like that were unlocking the same package of all of those classic Valve games for $1 and it no longer matters.

If anyone wants to get the new BoI and doesn't have the original, get it during the sale so you get the bigger discount when it's released.

As recently as last year, Valve requested I take a photo of my CD key contained in my physical copy of Top Gun in order for them to verify ownership and thus add the game to my account. While this is merely a request for a single game, they do have a support article describing how to taking a photo of a CD key, presumably for this reason.

Of course, I wasn't trying to move every game from one account to another.

And also of course, Steam support didn't read my request at all since my problem in the first place was that the CD key wasn't printed where it should have been and that section was completely blank.

So your mileage may vary.

Don't get any mods. Get the unofficial patch, which you can find here, and install it in basic mode so you don't get any changes, just bug fixes. The base game is still incredible and should be experienced in as pure a form as possible.

Besides, that then gives you more reasons to play through the game again next time, when you can start grabbing some mods.

thank gawd for that evil within demo. saved me some cash. the game is awesome but god damn it barely runs on my rig. I'm sure my bro will have no problem running it though. wish I had the cash to upgrade my rig, really want that 970, plus I'll need a new power supply with it, which makes the price even higher @_@

Why was Valkyria Chronicles not auto trade locked though? thought that all new games includes the non trading flag by defualt.

Got some nice games for myself and grabbed Evil Within and the Season Pass

The store sub was 8 months old, so it wasn't really "new"

The 970 is supposedly very power-efficient AFAIK, my PSP-playing penguin friend.
