It's normal. I doubt they'd have codes already, but you will have to give them your # when the time comes.

jshackles had to give it too. It is apparently part of their security check. They just send you code that you enter. It is more-less like 2-factor authentication on Steam/Origin/Google.

Alright thanks, I guess it kinda make sense as a 2-factor until you redeem it yourself.

Here are some impressions on the game:

The main gimmick (time only moves when you do) is really well done and there's some crazy stuff you can do (the following is a game mechanic, but some may categorize it as a spoiler)
you can do slow motion jumps if you press space (or your jump button) and keep it pressed
I didn't like the way the story stuff is presented (luckily, you get nothing of that once you finish the game and move on to the challenges) and I didn't like that the "instant restart" button doesn't exactly instant restart (there's a buzzing sound and a second or so of white noise)
I love the endless mode.
I'm not sure if I'd pay $25 for it, but it's a pretty good game for the $9 I paid on Nuuvem (and I'm South American, so I'd guess it's not exploiting regional pricing)

That's all :)
I didn't even expect it to have a story, cool. But like you say, the endless "zen" mode should be fun. Cool, will keep an eye on it for the future.

Darkness Within has a strange issue: if I set graphics quality to high, there's a bump in brightness.
Also this version had dumbed down puzzles. I remember the gears puzzle and it was very hard and you can place each piece in several different places, now there are only a bunch of spots in which you can place gears, almost impossible do it wrong. Devs redesigned this puzzle for sure.

yo guys, Stardew Valley is a real deal, it is a bit rough but then again it would be strange to expect it to be polished and perfect all things considered.
Other than that it delivered, activities although simple are so plentiful that I don't think it's possible to get bored.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Do we have March's thread sorted out, or are we going to see the same mess as February's?

Because that was pretty..

Stump set down some rules for Mr. Orange, so there shouldn't be a need for a heroic and handsome poster to put together an equivalent thread within minutes.

I'm pleasantly surprised that there's even more to SUPERHOT beyond that initial hook.

Not that that initial hook isn't awesome by itself already, but a dev truly expanding on their gamejam prototype and going into interesting directions with it is even more impressive than "just" stretching a neat concept into a full game.

We almost had it.

morningbus for March 2016!

Stardew Valley still being the top seller on Steam today is kinda surprising. The game has to be moving a good amount of copies given the low price.
Superhot too, with it being just behind Master of Orion at half the price.

An interesting fact about Disgaea PC is that it uses OpenGL, like the port of the first Neptunia Rebirth game did. If that's a sign of things to come with future N1 ports it's a good one ;)

I also appreciate that they've posted an update basically every day since the port went up.

Neat, I want to post in it. You could make it |OT| Not actually a bad port to try and make up for some of the previous (mis-)information.

i think the biggest thing about the port is that NISA clearly cares about the game. How many devs would actually make a daily update post.

I want to pick the game up but quad dipping seems excessive hence y i am on the fence.

The UWA apps limitation thread is killing me inside, I really need to take a break from this shit and just post positive things and/or ignore everything that makes me stressful and angry.

Well I guess I should talk a bit about what I've been playing since my last post about such in here.

I started up and played an hour or so of Oceanhorn which is a low-budget zelda game in everything but name.
The graphics aren't really that good but it was a mobile game ported to PC so it's impressive for that at least.
The controlls feel awfully sluggish which is my biggets complaint, it feels unresponsive and like your walking through deep sand all the time.
Haven't fought a boss yet so can't say anything about the boss design but the enemy variety and design hasn't been anything to write home about either.
But aside from that it's a pretty good Zelda clone.

Don't worry this thread also has it's fair share of idiots that make you lose hope of having a coherent conversation on this site anymore. But you're right, focus on the more leveled headed folks instead of the crazy ones.

Though cheers for the Oceanhorn impressions. Even if it sounds like a clunky Zelda game.
