Palis won the Artifact war because all their shit looks dope, im legit jealous of Palis right now.

Prot Warrior looks fantastic (Blizz shield designs are godlike), Arms is alright nothing amazing and Fury look like 1handers but I thought they got 2handers? Might be a outdated video.

Monk mistwalker staves are ok, Windwalker I hate fist wrapons (but tye pulsating rock hands look great) and Brewmaster HOLY SHIT THOSE LOOK AMAZING AND ARE THEY HOLDING THEM OVER THE SHOULDER AAAHHHHHH

Edit: Mage shit is all great, dat shameless caster love between mages and locks lol
Fury's Artifacts used to be one-handers but they changed them to two-handers. The Artifact model themselves still look like a one-hander though.

Holy Priest has some neat staves, strangely the lower ones look better (imo), Shadow is daggers whuch I hate (some looks good tho) and Discipline much like Holy is alright, staves in general arent impressing me apart from Brewmasters.

Rogues, I dont care about daggers but at least Outlaw swords look fantastic.

Resto and Balance druids are both fantastic and Gua-OH FUCK shit im gonna spoiler tag this just in case but

. Sorry Palis but Druids actually win the Artifact war.

Edit: oops forgot Shamans. Enhancement is hot fire and I love that they get different main and off hands. Elemental, shields look great but they use fist weapon on the main so booo is alright, some cool water motif in the weapons.

Not really, and right now at lv100 after the pre-expansion patch classes are not balanced well

At level 110, things will be better, but it's really hard to judge who is "best", especially since there will be additional tuning when everyone gets to 110 and has artifacts.

Best thing you could do is look for which spec looks most fun to you

I think the Prot Warrior artifact looks terrible. The sword looks like it's 2ft long & made out of plastic, but the shield... Yeah the shield is cool enough.

Pretty sure that's Starcraft II.

Fury's Artifacts used to be one-handers but they changed them to two-handers. The Artifact model themselves still look like a one-hander though.
They are pretty huge swords really. Using the giant Blackhand one-handers as a reference for what already felt big and the Fury artifact is huge next to those. Not sure what the biggest one handed weapon in the game is. Only thing that might rival it is Talon of Azshara. Most of the appearances are just whatever for Fury but Stormbreath is alright, and the axe is ace.

It seems like all the Ret Paladins disappeared, but why? The rotation is interesting if somewhat maddening at times, utility got amped up to 11 squared, and your artifact is the motherfucking Ashbringer.

Let me just run down the ways Ret is better now:

+ Bubble no longer pacifies you, plus you have the option of having it proc as a Cheat Death
+ Hand of Protection no longer prevents the target from attacking
+ Buffs give you a flexible way to empower yourself, the tank, another high performing DPS, whatever
+ Unlike most classes, self healing is arguably improved thanks to Justicar's Vengeance

On the flip side -

- Mobility is zero. Divine Steed has a cast time and only lasts 3 seconds - not super amazing
- No more hammer or seals hurts AoE capability
- Haste dependancy means you're going to hate life until you get gear

I don't know about that. They pretty much stripped self-healing and utility from every class. The mobility thing is a problem, I won't deny it, but I wouldn't be shocked if it ended up being the most survivable melee that wasn't a tank.

After spending way too much damn time on the transmog stuff, these are what I've ended up with so far:


The one on the left is probably what I'll charge into Legion with. But yeah, this has turned into some sort of freakish meta-game for me.

What rotation? Rets have like 4 sort of active buttons and a shitton of downtime when low on holy power and without all of the free procs, Exorcism and Hammer of Wrath. You spend a lot of time spinning your wheels, auto-attacking and mashing Crusader Strike.

Mobility is crap, you had a decent builder/spender system in place that was half-removed and replaced with nothing, you just flat out lost some heavily used buttons and are left waiting to see if the Artifact will fill in those voids in a satisfying manner.

Ret really is kind of a bummer right now. At the moment I'm flashing back to the vanilla days where the Ret pally "rotation" was Seal of Command + Judgment + Auto Attack + Pray to God for a Critical Strike + Twiddle Your Thumbs.

It's not that bad, but there certainly is a lot more downtime now, it's just kind of dull :/

MM hunters Sidewinders puzzle me, its a good talent and with it you can dish out some pretty big hurt but it being the only focus generator with only 2 charges you easily run into a situation where you're stood doing fuck all while waiting for either Sidewinders to recharge or for you to passively generate enough focus to cast aimed shot. Ofcourse I've no idea how it'll all work out with the artifact weapon and all that jazz at level 110 but atm I feel they should nerf the damage on Sidewinders and to compensate for that they should reduce the cooldown/recharge to make the spec feel a bit more action packed and to avoid downtime.

I actually love it. Before I felt like I was fucking up my rotation HARD, but now it's easier and more forgiving too!

So I'm levelling my Shadow Priest through Timewalking dungeons and found a Druid with a nice transmog but somehow he he'd managed to make his main (mace : Trauma) look like Thunderfury. No effect showed when I checked his character sheet in dungeon but I still can't work it out (no buff or anything on his nameplate)

I know there was the inflatable Thunderfury but I still thought that was an equippable toy and not a weapon transmog effect?

I haven't really had much trouble with it tbh, Steady Focus + Patient Sniper. I'm not sure if double sidewinders kicks of SF, I'd have to check. But for some reason I'm thinking that SF is kicked off by a combo of Aimed/Sidewinder/Arcrane 3x. So you could do Sidewinder, aimed, aimed. I'm at work or I'd test it, I could be completely wrong, but steady focus is almost always up for me and I don't recall ever using 3 aimed shots in a row unless I'm just bored or have trueshot up.
