Well yeh. Not all devs/pubs will see the effort of porting to be worthwhile and therefore won't bother. That said, I think such decisions will be purely from a ROI standpoint, and not necessarily technical.
I'm sure you'll have similar thoughts when you're 89 all of a sudden

I think it's insane to think Nintendo will have a launch without something that can't be found on Wii U in some form. Previous launches have had ports or held-over games as pretty big deals, but they've never been all.

We already know about 3D Mario. )
This confirms three things to me;
1) Seperate sets of Joy-Cons will be available
2) The Switch will have at least one fighting game
3) Zelda is HIGHLY likely to be at launch
There's also an adapter to charge four Joy-Con simultaneously. Hence they'll sell separate Joy-Con hence there's a mini game collection coming out.

I'm tempted to say it's real. All of the models in the pics are new, the design is consistent and it doesn't clash with what Hori usually releases.
We may not even get any Wii U ports besides Splatoon on Day 1, so there's that.

And I guess a more compact option for a charging dock for the portable only crowd who don't need the tv out etc. of the bulkier included dock.
Ah sorry lol. Yeah I guess it's more for charging while playing, and for more stability than a simple kickstand.

Same here. Does zero for me. If you're trying to attract a base that didn't already own a wii unit not entirely sure splatoon is the title. But wouldn't complain if it was free. Just wouldn't touch.
