I complain like crazy about them getting stuff to me late nowadays its annoying. Best Buy all day for me when it comes to games.

Crap, I thought I was the only one with Amazon shipping late for Yakuza 0. Normally when I buy games from them, they always arrive by launch date and I've never really have any problems before. I really hope they don't ship me the regular one since I've pre-ordered it the first day it opened way back in July.

Amazon completely screwed up my Gravity Rush 2 order. Said it was going to arrive on time, but it never showed up. I contacted support to see if they knew anything more, and they told me it never left the warehouse yet. If it was another game I probably would of took the five dollars they were offering me as an apology and just wait it out, but i wanted to play Gravity Rush this weekend. So I had them cancel my order and bought the game at best buy in person.

I'm curious to see if Yakuza 0 arrives on time or not. First time I've had a bad experience like that with Amazon. I'm also a Prime member. If this keeps happening with Amazon it might be time for me to switch to Best Buy for games as they offer the same kind of discount i think if you sign up for their gamer rewards program.

Ya I'm curious to know too. I'm on the fence between this and re 7. How are the loads times on yakuza? Are they as pathetic as ff15 load times? Replay value? Any virtua fighter in the game? Bison is a sag?

Be sure to whine to Amazon support using the chat. Let them know you're unhappy and they'll credit you a free extra month of prime.

Went ahead and ended up reserving Tales of Berseria and Yakuza 0 for definite pick-ups on Tuesday.

Yeah.... I don't know actually. Before the demo I was 100% sure about my Nioh purchase but now I'm not so sure. The game is awesome but after 3 demos I kinda feel like I had my Nioh fix for now so I might actually go with Nier instead of Nioh. It's weird, I know.

yes, I'm not sure either. its a cool game.....but somethings off and it seemed like one demo was plenty for me as well

Nah it makes sense. I suppose you got a lot of time out of the three demos.

The latest demo was my first taste of Nioh - I was going to go in blind for the full game, but figured I may as well try it out seeing as I had a OG PS4. I'm pretty sure I'll get it. The combat is ridiculously good, the enemies in the demo are a bit too Souls like though.

I think I'm going to wait for the PC/Steam version for Nier, the art direction in that game is amazing.

Yeah, exactly. I'll try Nier's demo before making the final choice but I'll most likely go with that.

Yeah, I played those two first demos a lot as well, so it really feels like I've had my Nioh fill for now. It's a great game and I'll definitely get it later on though.

Game wasn't even on my radar until I watched a jimpressions video on it. That quest he showed off as well as his description of some of the others you do really piqued my interest. Looking forward to picking up my preorder tomorrow :O

Odd how peeps are going nuts over amazon, they usually ship my games Monday, getting here on Tuesday around 10 AM. Are they that inconsistent for folks?

yes, last year they had 9 games late......I literally have had amazon prime extended for nearly a year....and soon to be 10 months.

Best Buy had 1 mishap with FFXV and that was because fedex delivered to the wrong house....which apparently happened to everyone due to black Friday.

There have been threads all over in the last year due to amazon and game deliveries

Any reason you use both of them aside from maybe sales here and there? Genuinely curious, as I'm thinking of doing the gamer best buy thing.

I've never had Amazon send a game late, but now y'all are making me worry. I still have a 24 arrival date, but it hasn't shipped. I guess I'm close to a warehouse.

Two days until Yakuza! Can't wait.

In fairness to Amazon, I ordered the copies at different times. One on the 11th and one on the 19th. Still don't see why the latter copy is lazing around though!

I don't mind them shipping games with One Day Shipping (which they do end up seeming to do for me pretty regularly), it just heightens my chance of not getting it on release day if there's a snag and that's annoyingggg.

sometimes I would have impulse purchase and pre-order delivery isn't available for best buy....so I would use amazon since I have prime.

which Yakuza is actually not available for in store pickup in 3 best buys nearby which means its not going to be easy to find most likely after this initial shipment.

this time I had a $70 cert and 5% cash back due to my visa card so I figured I would use amazon one last time





interesting part is......the warehouse is a 50 minute drive from my house.....they just opened a huge new facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Thats about the time I tend to get paranoid and heavily debate on canceling and buying locally. I work next to a gamestop though, so it generally turns out fine. I've sorta soured on going there lately though
