I am hoping Midnight EST since it is a BIG title. If it was coming out on regular Thursday I'd say noon since that is their standard. Then again, Puyo Puyo came out at noon on a Tuesday.

Thanks! I have no played a Mario Kart since my DS, and now I have my 3 1/2 year old son to play with. We (Mostly I) and really looking forward to it. Although now when he runs around the house, instead of saying "Super Speed!" he says "Power-up Speed!"

I didn't have much trouble buying it from Amazon.jp. You have to create an account and just add a random japonese address to your address list.

Digital version justified! Gonna pull my SD card too so it installs on the system's storage.

4 second difference in getting to the start screen between Switch Digital and Phsyical, edge going to digital.
3 second difference in getting to the start of the race between Switch Digital and Phsyical, edge going to digital.

Also a vast difference between the Wii U and Switch version.

I dunno.. I wasn't able to use any promo codes, rewards, etc., with the digital. Being that it is just a few seconds different, my $11.47 physical copy beats out on the $59.99 digital copy lol.

nah.. like I said above, I couldn't use Prime, rewards, or trade-in via Amazon, with the digital version.

I get 20% off for pre-ordering it with Amazon Prime and another 5% Amazon credit back for ordering it with my Amazon credit card.

Plus if I went all digital with the Switch I would have to buy a big micro-sd card. It's just not worth it going digital for Switch retail games.

If I remember correctly, you just have to input the room code. After you have inputted the code once, you don't have to do it again, and can just select the room normally in the online menu.

Looks like those wheels would be decent enough "Joycon handles".
Hell, you could even hold the wheel normally with the joycon at a certain angle (instead of perfectly horizontally)

(just an example, this might be even LESS ergonomic than the naked joycon... tbh)
like, MAYBE that helps either of the joycons be more ergonomic to people with various hand sizes.

edit: disregard the whole "holding it at an angle" thing, i wasn't aware the wheel had these kind of protruding L and R buttons.

My only experience with online multiplayer on the Switch is with Fast RMX and I haven't had any issues at all with lag or anything else. I think it will be fine.
