Looks better than the original, both visuals and gameplay, definitely interested as I loved automata.
That price though...

Super stoked to play this for the first time. I've always heard the combat was really rough but it looks pretty nice in that gameplay video, they must've done a lot to it.

I was saddened when I imported a copy of Replicant for PS3, only to find out there were no English subtitles available. Automata is one of my favourite games from the past decade, so I can't wait to finally play this.

Dear Square Enix...I know its expensive, but I'm willing to pay but just make it available in retail stores or at very least amazon.

Just make sure you want it! I didn't see any actual pictures of all the components. That's a lot with new consoles coming out too.

The main thing I want is the OST, because I own both previous OSTs. But I think I'll just be buying that separately. OSTs are usually like $60. Game will be $60. So that's like $40 for the pin set, script books, and steel case.

  • NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... STANDARD EDITION physical game (packed separately)
  • Grimoire Pin Set – Grimoire Weiss, Grimoire Noir, and Grimoire Rubrum pins which come presented in a specialized display case.

  • Steelbook® Case – A metal case featuring stunning artwork by illustrator Kazuma Koda.
  • Lunar Tear Collector’s Box.

I played on hard and I liked it even back in the day. It's not super polished, but it had a block counter, dodge roll, and the strikes felt like they had weight to it. Same with the magic.

It all looks much improved now though, and still looks like it has lots of weight in the hits.

But I cant deal with Square Enix store, if they make it available on EBgames or Amazon I will buy it in a heartbeat.
I just don't see that happening, from previous experience. Almost all the big CEs are exclusive on their store. Shipping is slow and expensive as well.

If you want to spend the money, they are usually pretty good. I thought the FFX HD, FFXIII-2, LR, Drakengard 3 CEs were all well made. The Drakengard one has a whole book with it.

I just don't need the giant boxes anymore. Main thing I want is the OST, so I'm cool just importing that to get a physical copy.

genuinely curious as to why? actual issue that has affected security of data stolen from site or more of a personal " i don't deal with publisher store fronts"
I ask because i just preordered it from Enix store and this is my first purchase from that store front

Im already having hard time getting Amazon delivering my games in time let alone SE store which usually known for delivering games super late and really just don’t trust that site.

I've gotten multiple CE from there. Never had an issue with stuff not showing up.

But you pay for shipping, and it's usually not immediately on release day. That's it. I think one time I got it on release day, usually 1-3 days after. Not the end of the world.

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
I got the Black Box Edition before and as some may know I found nier automata to be boring...
Just Pre-ordered the White Edition 😐

Can't watch vids right now because I'm working, but is the music remastered or did they just lift it straight from the original? Not that it was bad quality before, just curious.

Danjin44 did you see that the NA cover is reversible with the Japan cover.?
Its basically gonna be like what we got in Automata.

With that being said, the west cover isn't so bad, in fact its pretty good.

Whatever they were thinking, it worked. The game sold super well. I say make another cover just like it. Just make it reversible and I'm good.
Honestly you are right, is really because west audience are more attracted to boring cover art?

What makes these two covers so unattractive to western audience?

I don't know, but they keep doing it. They must have some market research that says people just want the character model on the cover so they know what they're playing as. It's boring to me too.

I think gamers in west have this obsession for characters needs to look "badass" in the cover regardless the context of the story.

Steam pre-orders are up.
Got my copy but....they already confirmed Denuvo on it? Really SE?
Hopefully it doesn't affect performance that much.

Its gonna take forever for to be available for pre-order in Canada. For fuck sake, Monster Hunter Rise still not available for pre-order from either EBgames or Amazon.ca.
