I think you are barking up the wrong tree here. The only negativity i ever see said against ACG is that he 'likes everything', and rarely gives games a poor review.
Luckily for me my tastes tend to fall in line with his.

Oh I do. Ratchet and Clank, Returnal, Spiderman are all objectively better than The Medium, which at present moment is the only true next gen game on Xbox. And those are only the TRUE next gen games, nvm the upgraded games like Tsushima and FF7.

Some first impressions....
Word of advice, play it in performance mode. The visual mode does not feel stable at all.
So far I've had a freeze once which meant I had to force quit the game (PS5)
There was an instance after you leave the apartment where the frame rate just tanked to zero multiple times while I was trying to exit the level.
This was all in the first hour and tarnished what was otherwise a pretty good experience.
Graphics and gameplay feel great so far. Only downside I'd give the graphics is that they appear too bright, like the black level or gamma is set wrong.
Lots if text tutorials.
Bethesda login, ugh.
Other than that, I'm really looking forward to getting deep on this. Looks like a great sandbox with lots to do.

I also can't speak to that as I am pretty vocal in that I am not an Arkane fan. I am a Prey fan but was not as explosive in my like of either Dishonored Game at all.
Someone asked about duelsense. It works ok, its not much. Pressure pull on guns and some shakes for location stuff as well as constant footfall stuff. Not game changing but less annoying than some other titles.

It's 1440p 120z with fast load times and HDR on Series X. Definitely worth the upgrade.

It's OK. I'm not a huge fan of the triggers and usually turn it off after giving each game a fair try with it on. Rumble is good, footsteps and the other usual stuff. Sounds decent in the 3D headset too so far for what its worth.

No, I'm arguing that Gamepass makes it worthy competition right now. Do I think that PS5 has better exclusives at the moment? Yes. Do I believe that gap is going to narrow by the end of the year? Also yes.
Lastly, lol on the 'Xbox Guys' comment. I've bought Demon Souls, Sackboy, Spider-Man Remastered, Miles Morales, Returnal, F.I.S.T., and Ratchet and Clank. I'm also picking up Horizon: Forbidden West day one.
It's OK to enjoy both.

Its literally the thing we fight against and then when instances happen where something different does pop up, people lose their shit over that. We were laughing in the discord about a comment in the review stating "You are the best independent reviewer man I love that you do things your own way. Have you thought about splash cards like IGN?" Which just by the sheer irony of it, is funny.
The nice thing is, we have so many games. Tales I adored, Psyconaughts was incredible, and so many others. So even if you sort of like this or hate it, no one has a small number of games they can play.

Well, the PS5 has a lot more games then just this one. You can play those as well. But if XSX is your 'main' then perhaps wait until after Horizon: Forbidden West lands. You know, it kinda sucks that reviews are just going to be near impossible to fully trust these days in our current politicized climate. Even suggesting that this is the case is scummy, because there's no direct proof - and it undermines people's ability to think whatever they want. But we know Arkane was one of the first to work with Anita Sarkessian and the main cast of the game is definitely considered "progressive" - which is terrible, because it should be completely non-political to include whatever characters you want. But in the context of their past work with popular political figures in gaming, and the kind of reactions to characters that you see like in Project Eve being overwhelmingly negative among the journalist class - there's just no way to know if the scores get a bit inflated or deflated due to political reasons. Bayonetta 2 got knocked several points for its character at Polygon, while stuff like Gone Home gets a 10. The whole well is just poisoned because even suggesting this implies that I'm the one trying to bias everyone else, even though there's lots of evidence of this happening in the past - currently there is literally zero proof this is the case.
Really all you can do is look at the specific people reviewing and trust who you want.

You continue to ignore Flight Simulator, which is a great experience for some, and I've probably spent 30-40 hours in. It's also the most 'next-gen' of any game right now.
And Gamepass is a worthy competitor, because I get a large number of games to play for a cheap monthly sub.
Once again, and I do not know how much clearer I can make this, PS5 has the better exclusives right now.

I made a promise to myself to not buy a Playstation console anymore untill they offer PS3 BC and I'm sticking with it as I'm Xbox only since last gen and don't feel I'm missing out since GT was the only PS exclusive I was very into but nowadays Forza Motorsports and Forza Horizon have taken over that place GT once had for me.

It's Arkane, they have been putting out solid solid games. Not always my style of games, but they've always been solid and it looks like this game is a breakthrough for them.
OT: Great to see that Arkane is hitting this out the park! Arkane's games have never really been for me, but the art direction and theming of this game is so good... so I had to do it. Throwing some dough at Arkane while I still can LOL Xbox go them a quality studio! If this game hits with me... I might have to pick up an Xbox down the line, or finally build a PC.
